Worst Squidward Torture Episodes

The Top Ten
1 Choir Boys

This episode has the stupidest plot ever! Squidward did nothing to deserve this torture all he wanted to do was join a choir. But of course, since SOMEONE won't stay out of Squidward's business, once again his dreams are crushed. And no, don't even think about bringing up that Squidward cannot sing, (you know who you are henry danger is great). Because even is he could sing, SpongeBob was doing all this on purpose. He got a bunch of jellyfish to set him free with his voice. So he DOES mean harm to Squidward. And he knows exactly what he's doing! Great! Now we all know. Besides, there's nothing to justify with SpongeBob's behavior. Why? Just look at the way he was acting in Good Neighbors and Squid Wood. And Patrick called him a saint. Number 1, that's an insult to saints. Number 2, he clearly isn't a saint. Because this was the last episode of season 6.

This one of the worst episodes ever. All Squidward wanted to do was join a men's choir. And it would've been a success. A huge one. But unfortunately since "someone" won't mind his own ding dang business it ended up being not so successful. Let me tell you why I hate this episode.
1. Spongebob was being at his usual worst, complaining that his "playmate" (Patrick) was gone and that he was bored, like a two year old.
2. Following Squidward around, dressing up as a police officer (he thinks people are stupid too! ) and told Squidward to stop his vehicle because he didn't listen to his song?! For REAL?! Till today, I want to punch the T.V. so HARD!
3. He gets a bunch of jellyfish to set him free with his fake ANNOYING opera voice and steals Squidward's spotlight! I want to smack his face! He's worsened through Seson 4, 5, 6, 7 and all those other seasons, especially the new ones. It makes me miss Spongebob

2 Boating Buddies

This abomination is the quintessence of squidward's torture. SpongeBob in choir boys may have been bad, but in this episode, every single character, including mrs. Puff, hates squidward, much like in the episode squid wood. For being harassed by SpongeBob, squidward tries to escape, and is punished for that. And for having the right to be mad, squidward is crippled for life. Even when I was a little kid, I knew this episode had problems. This episode is also very disturbing and actually implies that squidward deserves it. So, this is worse than choir boys because everyone was against squidward, and squidward got the most beating for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. In choir boys, SpongeBob had SOME excuse, because squidward kinda mocked him. In this episode, SpongeBob didn't have an excuse but he got off scot free anyway. Also, in choir boys, SpongeBob wanted to go to choir, but here, he didn't really want to do anything except make squidward miserable. This episode is worse by just THAT much.

3 Good Neighbors

Some good neighbors THEY are. A good neighbor has respect on their fellow neighbors. SpongeBob and Patrick? No. For starters, they just RUDELY walk into Squidward's house UNINVITED(note that I said uninvited), without even knocking or ringing the door bell. How rude is THAT?! If I were Squidward, I'd literally stuff them in a box and throw them down a waterfall or a cliff. I said I WOULD; if I were Squidward.
Then they make him do some stupid thing called the "GOOD NEIGHBOR LODGE", and when Squidward returns, he ends up not getting his pedicure, because of THEM. And then this is what they call the good neighbor lodge? When I saw this episode, I was like, HAIL NAH.

Give Squidward some peace and quiet for once. All he wanted to do was relax on a Sunday, but SpongeBob and Patrick took away all of his relaxation. Oh yeah, don't forget about the pedicure Sqiudward was suppose to get, his house turned into some robot-like thing because of SpongeBob and Patrick, and the residences of the Bikini Bottom made Sqiudward do service on Sunday for the rest of his life with SpongeBob and Patrick. Truly a Squidward torture episode

4 Cephalopod Lodge

Once every month squidward is surprisingly happy. So SpongeBob and patrick stalk him (squidward is unaware) and they sneak inside his club. The club members blame squidward for the outsiders in the club. So they kick him out of the club, and patrick falls on him. Then, the club person takes off squiwards uniform, hat and even underwear. Squidward is very sad. So SpongeBob and patrick try talk the club member to let squidward back in the club. They claim its not their fault (when it clearly is), so the club member says squidward is never allowed in the club. Squidward is depressed and even says he wants to slam his head repeatedly since they took away the last good thing in his life. Then SpongeBob and patrick come up with their own club and annoy squidward. After that, they kidnapp squidward and take him to jellyfish fields and torture him (they sting his tongue with jellyfish). They then give squidward a chicken suit. After all that, they finally realize squidward doesn't want to join their club. They finally come up with a plan and get squidward back in the club. Then, they act like total idiots getting squidward kicked out again. After that, SpongeBob and patrick sting him with jellyfish. Making squidward scream in pain off screen.

5 Squid Baby Squid Baby is a SpongeBob SquarePants episode from season 9 where Squidward slams his head on a mailbox which causes his head to swell up which makes him look and act like a baby.

You guys can say what you want about the episodes above. This however is full of boring crap where Spongebob and Patrick turn Squidward into a baby. And believe me, this is far worse than Goo goo Gas. In Goo Goo Gas, the writers didn't add any signs of head trauma in it or make anyone into adult babies. What do the NEW writers decide to do here? They want to make Spongebob and Patrick way immature than usual. Don't you guys remember in the old Spongebob episodes where Patrick and Spongebob were actually funnier? But now, their just doing all this on purpose? Can you imagine actually taking care of a man baby with head trauma? It's not only disturbing but it's also wrong. All of Squidward's tortures are so cliche where Squidward ends up getting publicly humiliated for it afterwards, and it never seems to be Spongebob or Patrick because if it does happen it's automatically Squidward's fault. Also the part that pissed me off the most was that the writers also ruined the "MY LEG" gag. Then Squidward poops in his diaper and enough said,

6 Squid's Visit

SpongeBob steals squidwards vacuum cleaner and lures him into his replica of squidwards house. Squidward is driven to insanity, and gets his house burned down. This is the most disturbing episode of SpongeBob, because SpongeBob harasses squidward and kidnaps him, and the episode takes detail way too far and shoehorns squidward to stay at SpongeBob's "House" at the end of the episode. Its abysmal!

This episode is not as terrible as God forbid One Coarse Meal, Little Yellow Book, Pet Sitter Pat, A Pal For Gary, SpongeBob You're Fired, but it's worse than Demolition Doofus. The reason I hate this episode is how serious they take being disturbing. And that close up at the end is creepy. 1.5/10

"How does he know all the contents in my medicine cabinet? "
Because Spongebob is a deranged stalker, Squidward. That's why.

7 Breath Of Fresh Squidward

It's bad enough that SpongeBob purposely makes Squidward's life hell throughout the seasons, and everyone always has to use his stupidity as an excuse for his behavior. But now he's getting mad because Squidward won Employee of The Month and was pogo dancing with Patrick. Of all the stupid things to get mad over. He kicks him out of his own party. At least he apologized in the end. - IShine&Illuminate

So, it's okay when Spongebob gets mad, but then when Squidward gets mad, it's a huge problem?! What does that tell us? That the writers are big fat HYPOCRITES, that's what. You'd think that after he invaded his house (AGAIN I might add), he would've learned his lesson. But NOOO! He's getting mad at Squidward for fry cooking with him and he tattles on him for putting dimples on the patty just to get Squidward into trouble but with no success. And seriously, what's the big deal if Spongebob isn't EOTM for once in his life? Obviously, the new writers didn't see that he was EOTM 26 times in a row in that same episode of Season one. Then he goes so far as to kick Squidward out of his own party because he was POGO DANCING WITH PATRICK! If that's not stupid, selfish and cruel, then what is?!
But then no one says anything when it came to stupid MINI SQUIDWARD. Why am I bringing this up? Because no body tried to stop Spongebob for being such a porous jerk to Squidward. First off because they are all HYPOCRITES. Secondly, they always stick up for the wrong people. And lastly, when it comes to Squidward doing stuff that Spongebob does, they think they can get involved even when it didn't even concern them. So this episode is telling me that Spongebob thinks he can get away with everything without having to get judged about it, but when Squidward does it, it's a problem? This has to be my least favorite episode of Season 5 besides, Le Big Swich and Krabs A La Mode.

8 Smoothe Jazz at Bikini Bottom

Squidward wins concert tickets only for them to be eaten by a fat, inconsiderate slob (Patrick), who proceeds to get rewarded for interrupting the concert. Squidward gets kicked out while SpongeBob performs on stage. This is not only the worst Squidward Torture, but also Patrick at his absolute worst. The only episode worse than this is One Coarse Meal.

The fact that there isn't a Patrick Star torture porn after this makes me sick. Squidward was drawn to absolute insanity and when Patrick ate both backstage passes and got in with them IN HIS STOMACH essentially, I wanted to see Squidward gut him apart and enter with SpongeBob.
ABSOLUTE TRASH.

This is one of the only times where Squidward's hatred towards Spongebob and Patrick is justified. Notice how he wasn't a jerk in this episode, he was excited to go see Kelpy G, but no those idiotic writers probably said "Hey! Squidward doesn't deserve happy moments".

9 Boat Smarts

So basically this episode is telling me that if you follow the rules of the road, you're going to get killed and tortured? And had it been Squidward who was doing that to Spongebob, he would've gone to jail automatically? This is a new level of Squidward Torture

The writers seriously need to stop making Squidward getting tortured by SpongeBob and making SpongeBob get praised for it. I mean, it was funny at first in the old episodes but now it's starting to get boring.

Hey, Squidward! Don't do anything good or else "someone" is going to kill you for it! You might as well just act as stupid as that certain "someone" and go to prison thanks to "someone".

10 Pineapple Fever

Most torture episodes show us a day in life of squidward but this one shoehorns him in just to torture him.

The Contenders
11 House Fancy House Fancy is the first season 6 episode from the TV series “Spongebob Squarepants”. In this episode, Squidward tries to make his house fancy so he could beat his rival at making a fancy house and Spongebob comes along to help. This episode is infamous for "the toenail scene" where Squidward gets his toenail ripped out while SpongeBob is moving his couch.

I actually like this episode. I think Squilliam's house is cool, and the toenail scene is only one part. Otherwise, I like this one.

Squidwards house is destroyed and he is stalked by SpongeBob and Patrick. And his toenail is torn off in grotesque detail. Yay!

Oh crap, that's gotta hurt really bad! I felt like vomiting and screaming when I saw the toenail scene!

12 Slide Whistle Stooges

The fish, being hypocritical as usual hates it when Squidward was using the slide whistle but in the hospital, the doctors, and nurses were laughing when SpongeBob and Patrick were doing it. Had it been Squidward, he would've gone to prison. But what happens? He's laughing too hard that he isn't aware of a cliff up ahead. So he crashes and then the bikini bottom fish cheer. Yep, they CHEER. Like...for real?

So Squidward annoys people for slide whistling, but SpongeBob and Patrick act like (pardon my language) retards towards the sick and people like it. The hypocrisy, the downright hypocrisy, I can't even with this season...

Actually, Squidward took it a bit too far in this episode. However, this episode is still annoying.

13 Squidward in Clarinetland

Though there are questionable Squidward moments, they aren't that bad.

This episode was good.

14 Ink Lemonade

Okay, please don't misunderstand me or get me wrong, I know that we shouldn't be taking cartoons so seriously. But if I had to choose one STP episode that was the worse, it would have to be this one. It's not really funny to me anymore. It's just TERRIFYING. Squidward did nothing throughout the whole episode. I felt so bad for him. Like, really bad for him. After the whole spider incident, he was legit scared to death. There was ink around his entire house because he was so paranoid. He was sweating all over because everyone just made him nervous for refreshments. I actually don't know why I even laughed when I saw this episode. I mean, sure no one likes him sometimes, but have some pity on the poor guy!

Typical, typical writers have to be such retards to the point where they drag STP (Squidward Torture Porns) too far. It makes me question why they even exist. Like, it may have been funny in like, Seasons 1 to 5, but then AFTER five, it just got crappy, boring and pointless. They treat Squidward like such a creep, when yes in the last previous seasons he
-read SpongeBob's diary in front of everyone
-ruined his friendship with Patrick for fun
-pretended to be a ghost
-pretended to be the fisherman
-played a heartless prank on SpongeBob during April Fools Day
-and that's pretty much it.
Like, he did nothing throughout the whole episode and he lost all his ink just for refreshments. Yep, that's right. REFRESHMENTS. Seriously, were the writers on DRUGS when they decided to make this episode? Not only is it gruesome, and creepy, the part where his ink was splattered all over his house made me sick! I want to MURDER Patrick sometimes

15 Squid Wood

The freaking hell, like why the hell does everyone keep picking on Squidward for? He may have done some annoying things that ticked people off, but how come no one talks about the stuff SpongeBob does? And I'm not talking about the commenters here on the Top Tens, I'm talking about those hypocritical townspeople. Come on, haters! Give Squidward a break! They're obviously too blind to see the pain he's been going through. Like, have some pity for the poor guy. He literally has to live in the middle of two troublesome neighbors, SpongeBob and Patrick. One annoying thing is that they both take part in making Squidward's life a nightmare. If SpongeBob's not there to do it, Patrick does it and if PATRICK isn't there to do it, SPONGEBOB (as usual) does the honors. Sometimes, I wish the townspeople weren't so annoying all the time and leave Squidward to do what he wants. But instead they act as hypocritical as usual and this episode is the perfect example to show how much their a bunch of @$$holes. (pardon my language but I think that Squidward torture porns get dragged too far.)

16 Professor Squidward

I feel like the writers put like ZERO effort into making this episode. If Stephen Hillenburg had made this episode, he would've made it almost like he made Squilliam Returns or Band Geeks, but then they just decide to come up with this. The plot makes no sense. Firstly, the lady fish offered Squidward (without a uni-brow) to become a music teacher, thinking it was Squilliam. Notice how I said in brackets without a uni-brow. That shouldn't be rocket science then, RIGHT? But the episode just gets a whole lot worse because SpongeBob and Patrick are in it once again to ruin everything like they usually do in the Modern episodes and later Squidward gets exposed and arrested. I'd much rather watch this episode than the ones we have TODAY but, you cannot tell me that this is possibly the stupidest comment ever:
"We all know the REAL Squilliam has a UNI-BROW."

Squidward get's mistaken for a look alike. A LOOK ALIKE? Are you people good?! It took an entire episode to realize that Squidward doesn't have a uni-brow? Who the hell wrote this damn episode?!

17 Restraining Spongebob

I find this episode not to entertain me but to kind of creep me out a lot. See, the thing is, if SpongeBob isn't the one to be able to bother Squidward so much, SpongeBob hands the job over to Patrick which I think is just plain... irritating, like I can almost feel his pain watching him constantly get tortured. It's the way Patrick was acting that creeped me out. His laugh, his stalking, he's so creepy sometimes! Then he tries to attack Squidward and they get into a fight

Now I am starting to hate the writers because when they couldn't use SpongeBob to drive squidward to insanity they decided to use Patrick instead and when squidward replaced SpongeBob's name with Patrick's... Patrick started laughing hysterically.

This episode took it too far. It has one one of the most cringeworthy torture montages and to make it worst... Add Patrick to the plot!

18 Patrick! The Game

Guys, Squidward is the jerk here and insulted Patrick's game when he's not supposed to because Patrick JUST wanted to be a good game maker. It's not Squidward torture because one, SpongeBob and Sandy didn't force Squidward to come along by kidnapping him from his house - he was walking with them. Two, he asked Patrick to explain the game while they play. And three, he, despite hating the game, wanted to beat the three.

Also, why do people think it's "The Googly Artiste or Smoothe Jazz in Bikini Bottom all over again", when it's not because Squidward did DO something wrong, unlike those episodes.

Die SpongeBob? DIE SANDY? Squidward was the jerk in this episode, was acting like a sore loser and a whiny 3 year old because he was losing, would not shut up about Patrick making up the rules as they played because HE's the one who asked Patrick to explain the rules AS THEY PLAYED. Torture HUH, clueless birdbrain IDIOTS?! Later, as he wins, he destroys Patrick's game and goes to jail for it. Seriously? You turn a simple game into a problem because you always have to suck the fun out of everything. That is so YOU.

19 The Thing

Should be in the top 10 for sure, I just feel bad for poor Squidward being trapped in a cement prison and abused the entire time. Yet another episode with Squidward having his life ruined, being treated like absolute garbage and crying for mercy just to suit the writers sadistic Squidward torture fetish. Just Terrible, enough said.

SpongeBob and Patrick's annoyance sends Squidward covered in cement and treated abusively.

This should be in the top 5.

20 Are You Happy Now?

Worst episode ever. First, because Squidward has no happy memory, then he falls in a deep depression where he was about to hang himself and then SpongeBob makes paper mashe's of himself and Squidward is drawn to complete insanity at the end. Looking back the first couple of times I watched this, it really wasn't even that funny and the episode wasn't even that great either. I don't even care if Squidward was happy at the end of THIS episode because the writers made him seem like he was some possessed person on drugs or something. Just terrible

Poor Squidward. The saddest part that could've easily gotten viewers in tears was when he was so close to committing suicide. That part almost got me in tears. If Squidward died that would've been the WORST episode and the saddest episode ever

First of all I don't like how the writers treat squidward on the show. the ending was like squidward on drugs and acting like a phycho monster. I disliked it.

21 Jellyfishing

This has to be one of the worst out there. It started off as a bit of good old karma, but then, when Squidward was in a cast and could do NOTHING about it is when the torture begins. First, he get hot soup blown on him by Patrick. Then, he's treated to visual torture when SpongeBob keeps licking his lips. Then, in Jellyfish Fields, is when the real torture begins. Patrick, being Patrick, shoves a net through his hand. Then, he's stung on the nose by a jellyfish, which is understandably his breaking point. He chases it and catches it. Then, a giant jellyfish comes out and stings him. He comes home, in ANOTHER full-body cast, and is understandably still mad. After he sics the little jellyfish on SpongeBob and Patrick, the giant one comes back just to sting him AGAIN! Bottom line, this episode has the most Squidward torture out of most of these episodes.

Actually, this episode is great, The Thing is just an awful rehash of this episode.

22 Giant Squidward

This TOO needs to be on this list.

23 A Pal For Gary

Okay, so were all just going to post random episodes here and say that it's Squidward torture? Fine! Might as well put something like...OH! I know! Maybe I'm With Stupid!

Uhm this is gary torture not squidward this my least faveourite SB episode ever theirs a few Gary toture episodes like this one pet sitter pat the cent of money, also SB torure episodes?
Squirrel record spongehenge the splinter stuck in the wringer procrastination big sister Sam and SB your fired!

Although Gary was responsible for the Squidward Torture Porn known as Once Bitten.

24 Club SpongeBob

"It claims that whoever doesn't listen to a plastic toy should starve in a forest"...
For Christ's sake, it's just a kids show. The thing with you people is that you take EVERYTHING so seriously.

What made me mad was when spongebob and Patrick pulled the table away from squidward cause he wouldn't ask the magic conch what he shall eat. And am I the only one who thinks the magic conch is not funny and annoying

Guys, Squidward was being a jerk for getting into the club when he wasn't supposed to.

25 Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful

Squidward gets community service again in this episode, just like in Good Neighbors, but he gets it too many times.

The cop really, really, really gets on my nerves.

That damn cop
