Top Ten Worst Super Mario Bosses

Mario is not known for strong bosses, but there are downright awful boss characters which exist.
The Top Ten
1 Bowser Jr. (New Super Mario Bros) Bowser Jr., or sometimes simply Jr., is a video game character who appears in Nintendo's Mario franchise as the secondary antagonist. He is the youngest son of the series' primary antagonist, Bowser.

I agree but the most trollest part of it is get the blue shell powerup and literally slide like a koopa shell which stuns him

Just spam fireballs at him or ground pound him a few times.

2 Cloud N Candy (Yoshi's Story)

I thought King Bomb-omb was bad...seriously,this guy can't even hurt you! and you defeat him by just standing there and licking him.

3 King Boo (Super Mario Sunshine) In the Super Mario series, King Boo is the leader of all the Boos and a major antagonist. He is an ally of King Bowser. He is depicted as a large white Boo with a crown similar to that of Princess Peach. In the Luigi's Mansion series, King Boo serves as the main antagonist and Luigi's arch-nemesis. He is depicted as gargantuan, even larger than his Super Mario counterpart, with darker eyes, a purple tongue and pupils, and a golden crown with a corrupted power-enhancing jewel. He is considered to be one of the series' most evil villains.

The boss is on a roulette wheel of a casino. King Boo has a slot machine that spits out fruit and you need to throw a red hot chili pepper in his mouth. The fight is long, painfully dull, makes no sense, and is poor.

Why'd they have to make his design so WEIRD? I like how they make it a casino theme, because it reminds me of Oogie Boogie (from Nightmare before Christmas) but STILL. Also the noises he make are so annoying.

My Theory Is That King Boo Was Drunk In Sunshine Even Though The Game Is Rated E

4 Whomp King (Super Mario 64)

He's basically a Whomp that can be hit three times.

5 Bowser (Super Mario Bros)

Repetitive, not real boss battle. Apparently Bowser's goal to beat you is put an axe at the end of the bridge and have lava under the bridge. FIRE BOWSER'S INTERIOR DECORATOR!

6 King Ka-Thunk (Super Mario 3D World)

This is a BARELY improved version of King Whomp from Super Mario 64. (As well as Super Mario Galaxy 2, but putting HIM in that game was pointless.) This boss is too simple, it has a lazy design, and it has an overused boss technique: Hitting its back. Aka his weak spot. It's obvious they're running out of ideas for creative bosses...

7 Boom Boom (New Super Mario Bros U)
8 Megasparkle Goomba (Paper Mario: Sticker Star)
9 Giga Lakitu (Super Mario Galaxy 2)

You mean King Lakitu

10 Bowser (New Super Mario Bros. 2)
The Contenders
11 Baby Bowser (Yoshi's New Island) Baby Bowser, referred to simply as Bowser, is the infant version of Mario's arch-nemesis Bowser, and the main antagonist of the Yoshi's Island series.

When he jumps up and down, the platforms never go into the lava, so it can't hurt you. Completely pointless.

12 The Big Boo (Super Mario World)

I sometimes forget this boss existed. He doesn't even cause damage to the player.

13 Antasma (Tutoria)

Seriously? This fight plays the Semifinal Boss Music! Ugh...

14 Bonechill (Super Paper Mario)
15 Bowser (Super Mario Galaxy 2) Bowser is the main antagonist of the Mario Bros. Franchise. From kidnapping Princess Peach to simply destroying a fun game between Mario and Friends in the Mario Party spinoff series, this king of the Koopas has set up a certain hatred towards himself amongst the large cast of Mario Characters. He first appeared in the 1985 popular videogame, Super Mario Bros., in which he was responsible for kidnapping Princess Toadstool (more commonly known as Princess Peach), which was released in Arcades and on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Videogame System.
16 Bowser (Super Mario Sunshine)
17 Shrowser (Partners in Time)
18 Lemmy Koopa (New Super Mario 2) The youngest of the seven original children of the Koopa King. Lemmy has always been fascinated by the circus and acrobatic acts and so he's made it his life's calling. Lemmy dreams of showing the world his incredible physical feats and never passes up a chance to gain a captive audience. Though he ...read more.
19 Iggy Koopa (New Super Mario 2)
20 Ludwig von Koopa (New Super Mario Bros. 2) Ludwig Von Koopa is a villain in the Super Mario Franchise. He is the self-proclaimed leader of the Koopalings and has a pompous and arrogant personality. He is said to have all the powers of the other six Koopalings. He can clone himself, cause earthquakes, teleport, and shoot lightning bolts from ...read more.
