The 2019-2020 NHL season has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride, filled with its fair share of surprises, disappointments, and underwhelming performances. While there have been some stand-out successes that have delighted fans, we cannot ignore the unfortunate reality that certain teams have left us shaking our heads in despair. From those who simply failed to meet expectations, to others that confirmed their predicted abysmal performance, this list aims to shed light on the top ten worst teams of the season. Regrettably, the Habs make an appearance, but hey, at least there's a chance they might snag Lafreniere! Anyways (I'm getting sidetracked), which teams are in your eyes the most dismal teams from the 2019-2020 NHL season?
The Detroit Red Wings are a professional ice hockey team based in Detroit, Michigan. They are members of the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League and are one of the Original Six teams of the league. The Red Wings are on pace to have 50 points at the end of the season, which is an embarrassingly low number. I feel it's quite safe to say that they will finish last in the league. But who knows.
We might be looking at the future team of Lafreniere. I hope not, I don't need any more competition for my Habbies.
They are brutally tanking in historic numbers giving up goals on consistent nights. It will take a little bit for the Red Wings to return to their glory days.

To think that 10 years ago they were Cup contenders and then Cup winners. It's not that hard to believe, but it is weird. I wonder what Drew Doughty would've thought back then. Lol.

So sad, I was hardcore cheering for them back then. The Sens would be a great fit for Lafreniere, but again, I hope that doesn't happen.

They've been bouncing around too much recently. But they did get some good picks in return for Hall. Let's see where they go from here.

Since their inception, the Ducks have played their home games at the Honda Center. Anaheim is doing much worse than I expected so far this year, though they did trade Perry. It's really weird for me seeing them so crappy. But I'm happy, I hated them for dominating the Flames for so many years.

They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. They had such a great start to the season, why did it have to go so wrong!? They're just way too up and down this year, 8 game winning streak, 8 game losing streak, and then repeat. It's so annoying! But I'm pretty sure that they're out of the playoff race. The Atlantic is just way too strong, you have to be a really good team to make the playoffs in the Atlantic at the moment. I'm hoping they keep losing games and end up getting Lafreniere. I know that that's major wishful thinking, but what else can you do when your team stinks. Sorry my Habbies, but you not doing anything this year. Go Habs Go!

This one has been a long time coming. They definitely have some great talent on the team, but they just don't have enough, especially with Dubnyk not playing as well as he used to. Lundqvist is getting a bit too old to play like he used to, and they have lost a lot of great players over the past couple years.

Yes, I guess Martin Jones isn't the greatest goalie, but Karlsson, Burns, Couture, Kane, Hertl, Meier! That's a lot of great talent. I think this is just a temporary hump for them, they'll get over it, but they better do it fast if they want to make the playoffs!
