Worst Things About Sensitive People

For any sensitive people reading this, please read this list and see your flaws before you attack me for it.

The Top Ten

1 Many of them don't know the difference between bullying and criticism

Looking at all these items, I’m not too sensitive anymore thank god

Okay, I've had it with this.
Your definition of what makes someone sensitive is nothing but stereotyping. Not every sensitive person is like this. Some are more sensitive than others, some might even have mental conditions that make them appear initially sensitive, etc. Hypersensitive people fitting your bill, maybe, but basic sensitivity on its own? Everyone has at least a little bit of it in them. Enough with the generalizations. - isaaonrtdmtr

Yeah, I agree with 3DG20. One, time I called my friend's fake glasses dorky, like, "hey, where'd you get the dorky glasses? " and she got mad and told on me. She says she isn't sensitive but either she's lying or she just doesn't get the meaning of "friendly teasing". Like come on, I meant it as a compliment and a joke and she acted like I said "If beauty were a drop of water you'd be the Sahara Desert" or some other crude insult like that. Then, my other friend sided with her even when I (tried to) explained. Like seriously that's just stupid *walks away grumbling*.

This list...doesn't seem for people like me. But I am troubled and sensitive too.

2 They act as if opinions are sin

Disney1994: Opinions ruined my life! - Userguy44

No one will like LLLiv and Maddie. Deal with it. - NickelodeonYesAddminNo

Many of them don't even respect opinions and treat it as if it was made by the devil. - DarkBoi-X

Not me...Thank God! - TriggerTrashKid

3 They care more about things that aren't even problems then they do about actual problems

Like all the people on this site crying about a stupid list of celebrities who died.

Especially people who believe in "political correctness". And it led to the Rotherham Scandal - TwilightKitsune

Holy crap it lasted from 1980 to 2013.Didn't read much on the details though. - DarkBoi-X

I have yet to see a sensitive person complain about actual problems like poverty, war, child labor, etc.

Meanwhile I have seen like a thousand sensitive people complain about swearing, criticism, edgy jokes, etc. - DarkBoi-X

4 Some of them will send death threats over small things

Not me, I am a safe person. - TriggerTrashKid

DeviantArt in a nutshell. - Ashes

That incident where someone drew a Steven Universe character a bit skinnier and a horde of SJW's sent death threats to the person is an example of this. - DarkBoi-X

All the anti-feminists who completely flipped out for years about Anita Sarkeesian are a great example of this.

5 They think swearing is the worst thing in the world

There are many bad things, but it's in the same category. - TriggerTrashKid

I agree. Swearing isn't the worst thing. - Userguy44

I don't like swearing but that's why I censor it, I agree the people who make such a big deal over swearing and censoring swearing are ridicoulus though - darthvadern

I don't swear(Unless Ass counts as a swear word) but I am tired of people acting as if you somehow swear you are worse than a murderer.I even saw someone say that swearing is worse than murder on a list called "reasons why swearing is okay" - DarkBoi-X

6 Some of them think opinions are bullying

I love this list. For any sensitive person who doesn't like something or gets offended, do yourself a favor and keep your mouth shut. Get thicker skin - RustyNail

I want an example. - TriggerTrashKid

7 They cry over small things

My little cousins in a nutshell

That's incredibly sensitive. - Userguy44

Not me. - TriggerTrashKid

8 They think edgy jokes are bullying

I may not like Edgy jokes, only Dark humor, but I know what you mean by all of these items in this list. There is this 6th-grade teacher named Ms. Lewis. She was my 6th grade English teacher and I strongly despise her all because I was unwise at the time of discipline and rules and what her rules actually have true meaning upon us. She was my extended day teacher(6th-8th grade. After School program) and one tragic day occurred upon me and I describe it as the worst day in my life(Well, the worst is that I got bullied in 6th grade). She has permanently suspended me from the program because I was trying to make a point upon her and she will not listen to my point because she is silly. I was listening to Pandora on a computer, and she said that if she could listen to my music and I said yes. She listened to my song "Video Killed the Radio Star" and said that she dislikes it and forced me to turn off the computer because it has the word Killed and I turned it off. I can't explain it all, ...more

Glad you said this. Really. - Ashes

Edge jokes were so 2016 anyways.

By the way, the long comment in this item was me. Sorry I could be absent-minded at times when I wake up very early...-Kevinsidis

9 Many of them are drama queens/drama kings

Just stop with the drama - DarkBoi-X

Oh yeah, I have seen many. - TriggerTrashKid

10 Many of them are hypocrites, saying bad things to their enemies, yet crying when they are treated the same way.

Sort of. - TriggerTrashKid

The Contenders

11 Many of them are attention seekers

I'm a sensitive person, (very) and I'm an anti-attention seeker. I hate getting all the attention just because I have 2 disabilities! It's so annoying! Literally, my parents will barely leave me alone!

I prefer you DON'T put me in the spotlight. I'm content with obscurity. - Ashes

I seek attention, but I never overdo it. - TriggerTrashKid

Describes pretty much every yellow-bellied creature on this site who'd hang around with their ne'er-do-well companions in secrecy and stalk the hell out of a singled out user only to catapult their sucky life's frustration via. repeated littering of garbage in the inbox. - Vip3r

12 They get offended by everything

I get offended about one thing, but I won't tell you. Anyways, it's on my profile. - TriggerTrashKid

*Insert joke about how black people are not functioning members of society here.

13 They act like their own problems are always worse than everyone else's

They're not worse, it's just that sensitive people cry more about them. - Cesium

14 They want to ban classic Christmas movies

What does this point mean? - TriggerTrashKid

Seriously, overly hypersensitive people wanted to ban the classic Rudolph and Frosty specials from T.V. because of "bullying" and "no snow woman." - SailorSedna

15 They want to ban the word "Easter"

What's even wrong with the word "Easter"? - Userguy44
