Top Ten Worst Types of Cafeteria Food at School

I'm vegetarian, but as someone who used to eat chicken nuggets, I never really liked the texture of chicken nuggets, especially school ones...

My schools chicken nuggets aren't really that bad, kinda just depends on the day.

I'm a vegetarian, and to be honest, I'm not sure whether or not I can eat the stuff.

For all the years I've been in school, the lunches consisted of pasta, pasta and more pasta. How do you think it feels when you generally can't stand the stuff?

For me, it's always part cold, part warm, so that you never know what to expect.

If you don't like pasta, bring your own lunch!

I read a comment by a visitor and the visitor said that the tomato soup his/her old school served in the cafeteria is pretty much only ketchup and boiled tap water. Gross...Hope that no one has to eat something like that anymore

The only soup my school has served is Campbell's tomato soup which seems pretty uncommon in schools. They serve it with grilled cheese and it actually isn't that bad.

Who the hell wants soup for lunch!? How is that at all filling?

It depends on which kind of pizza they make. My school has a variety. Pizza "boats"
Are decent, there are sometimes triangle slices which are good, the one with only cheese is gross. Square pizzas come in pepperoni (not sure if it actually is but whatev) and just cheese and the one with just cheese and this weird paste under it is gross. And then there breakfast pizza of two kinds. One with cheese sausage and other stuff and one with cheese sausage and eggs, they are both kinda nasty but the one without eggs is better. And finally we have "fiesta" pizza which is basically Mexican pizza, not that bad. Wow, just realized how many different pizzas my school has.

I actually like the salad because they don't use rotten food like apparently everyone else's school does. I'll only eat it with fat free ranch dressing tho because the others taste gross for some reason.

I like salad, but from what I see on images online, the salads they serve on cafeterias look TERRIBLE!

I hate salad, they always have gross toppings. But, I don't hate veggies.

So, I bring my own lunch for this reason: a few of my friends get the hot lunch, and it looks awful. We often joke about how much mustard/ketchup it would take to make it taste "edible".

Lunch lady : "Here is your Lunch, it is a special healthy burger."
Me : "Is that supposed to be a patty? "
Lunch lady : "Well, we could not afford any good stuff, cause we spent the money on The New Desk."

My school hamburgers taste like disgusting meatloaf on an average bun.

At my old school in 2016, a girl in my class kept doing questionable things on the hotdog meat and she starting squeezing it and white fluid started oozing out of it. And they gave the better looking hotdogs to the staff, but gave the wheat breaded and purple-colored meat to the students..

The worst part isn't the taste. It's the fact that perverted people cause you to lose your appetite because of the jokes they make about a hot dog.

I would add some chili to it and some ketchup too.

The only time I had tuna at a school was in elementary school and it came from like a starkist can and has mayo mixed with it. It actually wasn't that bad.

The tacos always taste strange... I wonder what they put in them..

I don't really care about it. I'll eat it, it isn't bad but it isn't great. It's kinda just eh. If I'm hungry I'll eat it, if I'm not I'll give it to my friend.

I actually don't mind my school's mashed potatoes. But that's probably because I love mashed potatoes.

I dislike these in general so yeah...
