Top 10 Worst Types of Fanfictions
After reading crap on fanfiction.net I lost all faith in humanity.It's literally just Sonic and his gang blowing up things and doing weird R18 things. Can we just ban fan fiction altogether?
Some other animated FanFictions that I saw on Y8 really wanna vomit so hard. It's even worse along with the Pokemon FanFic which is way more worse.
Me and my friend read some of these once. We cried ourselves to sleep that night.
Why is this not #1? They are absolutely DISGUSTING.
These annoy me no end. It's worse still that some of them have a perfectly good plot, yet the characters' personalities have been morphed so much they're unrecognisable compared to their canon counterparts. Authors should either choose to write about characters that better fit such personalities, or just write a completely original fiction with no constraints on how the characters can be chosen to act; this will save their work going to waste over OOC flaws.
Eh, it's pretty hard to completely grasp a character. I give most of these people a pass.

What kind of anti American, Trump supporting, twisted minded, communist, anti semantic, murderer, terrorist would write this anti-Muslim biased propaganda, that kills billions of people? They are all Trump supporters, because they write these gross weapons. If you write This, you automatically became a Trump supporter.

Lemons are horrific. No one wants to read this gross, overly graphic content. GIVE PEOPLE A PLOTLINE, FOR GODS SAKE. I mean, romance is cool but not if it's dirty and sexual and... yugh!
How did a fruit get turned into a sexual thing in the first place?
If you read these on a regular basis, then it's time for you to get out of the house and get a girlfriend/boyfriend.

I made one called Dirty Beaver's Pokeworkers. He's more of an author avatar, but I decide to give the main lead plenty of flaws (doormat tendencies, very sarcastic, a pervert, alcoholism, constantly beaten and abused, and often feeling more moral than the other citizens of a crapsack parody of the Johto region).
When you make a fan-character for whatever medias, stay true to the universe, don't put a obssession with romance if the universe doesn't have this theme, or if your virtual crush doesn't have the passion than yours, then, let it go and simply accept it.
it doesn't matter if the FC is drawn or written, a obssessive person may be not the best way to enjoy the universe.
this is why I recommand to anyone to put efforts in the future FC, and work on the biography of the character to avoid many clichés, annoyances.
You know the ones. The ones where the author puts themselves (or rather, an unrealistically perfect version of themselves) in the story to interact with the characters. Usually it's cringeworthy and the stories, mostly, are trash.
These are cringy and make you feel as if your soul is dying as you read them. 90% of them are about OC Sonic characters blowing up trash and stuff anyway.

I love Shrek but Jesus Christ whoever is writing those fan fictions are hella high asf or drunk. Most of Shrek fan fictions are over sexualised.

At first, I thought this was a totally biased item considering the creator of this list himself is an SAO hater, but after hearing TwilightKitsune declare that she hates SAO fanfictions as well, even for someone who is a big fan of SAO, I can see why this is high on the list. Although, I believe nothing can top Sonic fanfictions as the worst type of fanfictions that there is.

Kinda 50/50, guess it depends on what your crossing over with and how good the author is as well. Though there are some pretty bad crossover fanfic that pissed me off, like a Black Lagoon/ John Wick crossover where one of them shipped John w/ Revy. There's also some good ones like a RWBY/Bloodborne fanfic called The Longest Hunt. But yeah, in the end, I'm 50/50

There was this (extremely long) fanfiction that was nearly every female video game character that existed at the time (plus a few from books and movies) literally having... relations (didn't wanna get censored) with each other. Yeah...

Oh yeah those were terrible. Just read 20 Wings of Fire fan fictions and all of them would have overpowering characters (animi characters)

Stay out of the "Frozen" and "Big Hero 6" sections of any fanfiction site. You'll have to slog through a ton of the stuff before finding a fanfiction that doesn't have it. No, one sibling being dead in "Big Hero 6" means nothing to fanfiction authors.
This should be higher. There are so many of these disturbing fan fictions involving the characters from The Loud House.
