Top 10 Worst United States Presidents

The Contenders: Page 3

41 John F. Kennedy John F. Kennedy John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy, commonly referred to by his initials JFK, was an American politician who served as the 35th President of the United States from January 1961 until his assassination in November 1963. The Cuban Missile Crisis, The Bay of Pigs Invasion, the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, the more.

I do believe that he is overrated, if you read "Killing Kennedy" you will see why. He put many personal issues above his presidency. But this does not necessarily make him a bad president. Definitely overrated, but not bad at all. - Alpha101

His coolness during the Cuban Missile Crisis probably saved the world from nuclear Armageddon. He was starting to show courage in the fight for civil rights. Who knows what he would have done in Vietnam had he lived. He may not have been great, but he certainly doesn't deserve to be on the list of worst presidents. Who wouldn't want him here today?

Y the hell is JFK on here

He is kinda overrated but he's not bad at all - Randomator

42 Calvin Coolidge Calvin Coolidge

I'm just voting for him to try and push Lincoln out of this list..

I'm just voting for him to try and push Reagan off this list. Same for Kennedy.

Father of the administrative "experts" and the massive expansion of federal government bureaucracy.

One of his really really great grandchild is in my class. - Catacorn

43 James A. Garfield James A. Garfield James Abram Garfield was the 20th President of the United States, serving from March 4, 1881, until his assassination later that year.

It's not really fair to put Garfield on the list, simply because he was only president for six months

This should be in the top ten best presidents instead. He was a great man but got killed before he could take office which is quite sad. - Call

Dumb assassin

Right spot.

44 Theodore Roosevelt Theodore Roosevelt Theodore Roosevelt was an American statesman, author, explorer, soldier, naturalist, and reformer who served as the 26th President of the United States from 1901 to 1909. As a leader of the Republican Party during this time, he became a driving force for the Progressive Era in the United States in the more.

He shouldn't be on this list, wanting to preserve nature, helping stop the Russo-Japanese war, shot in the chest and gave a 90 minute speech, wanting some equality between whites and minorities.

To the guy who wrote the comment starting "I wish we had this guy today..." You obviously did not understand Teddy Roosevelt very well. Just because he was an outdoorsman does not mean he was a low life name-calling NRA puppet like you. Teddy actually had much more in common with Barack as far as standing up for the working man than he would have ever had in common with someone like you. I hope you realize in your comments that you are talking about a classy leader with his face on Mount Rushmore, and not some gun goon like yourself. Frankly, I think the Secret Service should be interested in your comments and I hope you land in jail because that's where you belong.

WHAT?! Why is he on this list at all?! He was like the best president there was!

Theodore Roosevelt is the best president of all time.
