Worst Video Games of the 2010sLet's refrain from easy targets like Shovelware games or bad licensed games. Try to keep it at more prominent, actual games.
The Top Ten
This was honestly hard to pick the number 1 spot for worst video game of the 2010’s. It was pretty hard, but I chose Ride To Hell Retribution because this game is honestly... abysmal. This game blows. It has cheesy dialogue, and awful looking characters. It also includes hilariously awful writing, loads of glitches, and sex galore. This game is honestly one of the worst video games of all time, and quite possibly the worst game of this decade. Whatever you do, avoid this game. And you’ll be glad you did. - RadioHead03
Worst game ever - LightningStrike
Poor Sonic man. He just can’t catch a break. Sonic Boom Rise Of Lyric is the worst Sonic game ever. This game has awful level design, terrible character redesigns, awful graphics, boring combat, awful story, disappointing speed sections, glitches galore, and the characters never shut up. Ugh, I seriously hate this game so much. Even Sonic 06 is better than this thing. - RadioHead03
The only reason this game was made was so that Activision could sneak one last Tony Hawk game in before their contract with the series expired. Even when the trailers were announced, everyone could see that very little effort or passion was put into the game. Also baffling as to why Robomodo was in charge of this game, despite every Tony Hawk game they developed prior to this failing miserably (and then they shut down in 2016. Hmm, I wonder why). From a whole day-one patch, to poor gameplay, to unappealing levels, and a mediocre soundtrack slapped on top, this game was a mess; doomed from the very start.
Atrocious. Complete embrassment. Activision ruined everything. - iliekpiez
As a person who enjoyed the Neversoft era of Tony Hawk games, this game crushed me. This game, is so bad. When it first launched, it was absolutely broken. So many bugs and glitches, the online system wasn’t even working, and it wasn’t playable, like at all. But when it got fixed, it was still bad. The graphics are not the best. They look more like a mobile game rather than a PS2 game. The levels are so disappointing, and empty. There are no people to be seen. The levels are more ghost towns rather than levels. The missions suck. They bring up no variety, and are rehashed with different themes. Plus, you can’t create a skater. You just put a head on some body, and it’s honestly disappointing. Plus, the soundtrack sucks. There are literally no songs I enjoyed in the game. This game was a massive disappointment. Sad that we won’t get Tony Hawk games anymore. Nor Skate 4. - RadioHead03
Worst mega man ripoff ever!
We Kickstarted this for a Mega Man Rip Off?
WHAT THE F^<&?!?!?
As fan of the original trilogy, I am deeply disappointed with the turn out of this game. One big middle finger from BioWare to the fans of the series. - cjWriter1997
Licensed titles are often a hit or miss. Spongebob Heropants is not only the worst game of the decade, but honestly one of the worst game i’ve ever played. This game looks like a PS2 title. Even other PS2 titles look better than this garbage. This game recycles everything as well too. Levels, music, etc. Plus, there’s only one boss battle, one boss battle! Plus, the superhero mechanic in literally the same as controlling your regular character. And did I mention glitches? This game sucks. Worst game ever. Skip your time on this garbage and play Battle For Bikini Bottom instead. That’s actually a great licensed title. - RadioHead03
This game is creepy and disturbing!
What was suppose to be a game that would satisfy Aliens fans turned out to be a very massive disappointment to Aliens fans. After many, many, many, many, delays. Aliens Colonial Marines finally released in 2013. And we wish it didn’t. This game has so many technical problems, low quality graphics, and not being as thrilling as the Aliens movies. This game was honestly a massive disappointment. Thankfully, Alien Isolation was a pretty good Alien game releasing a year later. Go play that one instead. - RadioHead03
Released unfinished, fixed up this year and is a master piece - Alapisboy
Seriously? This game appeared in TIME Magazine? Oh well.
If you want a really subpar kart racer, than this game is for you. This game is bad. Really bad. First off, it looks like a mobile game. Even the menu screens look like it came from a mobile game. Also, the character roster is extremely disappointing. It only features a few characters from Spongebob, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, and TMNT. Nickelodeon has a huge selection of properties. I mean, even Nickelodeon Racing on the PS1 had more characters from many properties than this version. The tracks also suck. They’re so empty looking, and not exciting. Also, there’s no voice clips. I think it’s honestly really weird that is has no voice clips. And how much is this game? $40. Fourth dollars for a cheap, run-downed Mario Kart clone. Totally not worth it. - RadioHead03
Another licensed title. This time it’s the Ghostbusters 2016 game. This game is really bad. So bad, the developer behind it went bankrupt the following day. This game is a terrible, repetitive licensed title. It’s a poor twin stick shooter with bad characters, and god awful humor. This is definitely one of the worst games of this decade. Go play the 2009 Ghostbusters game, that one is actually fun. Or you could play the 2019 remaster of the 2009 Ghostbusters game that came out recently. - RadioHead03
This game is truly the gift that keeps on giving. I highly recommend you watch Internet Historian's "The Fall of 76" if you haven't already, but everything covered in that video is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how poorly this game has done and what it has done to Bethesda's reputation. 1 year later, incidents involving this game continue to happen, and we can only wait for a part 2 to The Fall of 76.
I tried not to add this game onto the list. But after looking at it a second time. I had to do it. I mean, this game is truly awful. It had a really bad launch. A really bad good one. With poor performance issues along with bugs, and glitches. Along with no interactive human NPCs. Plus, Bethesda did mention this game at E3 2019, and people in the conference actually clapped for it because of the new battle royale being added to it. What? Are you kidding me? Plus, the battle royale mode isn’t even that good. Honestly this game blows. But every game studio has to have it’s flops once in awhile. - RadioHead03
Why wasn't this crap already on here?!
I think we have the worst video game of 2019 right here folks. WWE 2K 20 looks absolutely... disgusting. This game seriously looks broken. More broken than the Switch version of WWE 2K 18. There are glitches everywhere, poor graphics, and god awful animations. Honestly, this game’s launch makes THPS5 look like a masterpiece. This game is so broken. - RadioHead03
Ruined Samus - iliekpiez
AC sucks anyway - iliekpiez
Disappointing - iliekpiez
Some people like it for their weird reasons - iliekpiez
It's on here because it's another pathetic "battle royale" style game. Nothing really to do with Call of Duty, let alone the Black Ops series.
Umbrella Corps is a spin-off to the Resident Evil series, and it’s definitely not a good one. This game honestly feels pointless. It’s not exciting, and it feels like a zombie version of Call Of Duty, which already exists called Call Of Duty Zombies. This game did not need to exist. That is all. - RadioHead03
I Played It And it was very mediocre - VideoGamefan5
Formerly known as The War Z. This game was created by Sergey Titov: the same guy responsible for the creation of Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.
