Top 10 Worst WWE Royal Rumble PPV Matches Excluding the Royal Rumble Match

For this list we will be looking at the worst WWE Royal Rumble Pay Per View Matches excluding the Royal Rumble matches themselves.
The Top Ten
1 Kurt Angle vs Mark Henry (World Heavyweight Championship Match) - 2006

This match was awful from the get go Kurt Angle really tried his best to try and make Henry look good but it just didn't work the finish was really flat after Angle hit Henry with a series of chairs and made a very pathetic roll up for the win and worst of all this was the main event of the card.

2 Triple H vs Scott Steiner (World Heavyweight Championship Match) - 2003

Triple H had to carry the match which dragged on way longer then it needed to thanks to Scott Steiner's lack of mobility, the match ended in a DQ before Steiner locked in the Steiner recliner on him and refused to break the hold.

3 Ashley vs Mickie James - 2006
4 Brock Lesnar vs Hardcore Holly (WWE Championship Match) - Royal Rumble

This match had no business being on Pay Per View as Lesnar squashed Holly in a very boring match especially when you compare it with RAW's main event between Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

5 JBL vs The Boogeyman - 2006
6 Ivory vs Chyna (Women's Championship Match) - 2001

The finish was really awful as Chyna suffers a kayfabe injury then Jerry Lawler for whatever reason left the announce table to check on Chyna treating it as a legitimate injury as the segment felt like a reminiscence of the Owen Hart tragedy years earlier which angered fans.

7 Undertaker vs Heidenreich (Casket Match) - 2005
8 The Beverly Brothers vs The Bushwackers - 1992

A terrible match by two terrible tag teams at the time.

9 The Islanders vs The Young Stallions - 1988

It was a 2 out of 3 fall match which was the main event which was pretty much over after Paul Roma injured his knees and got counted out losing the first fall which led to Powers having to carry the rest of the match until Roma tagged himself in after Powers took a real beating and lost them the match.

10 Undertaker vs Yokozuna (WWE Championship Casket Match) - 1994

This match was ruined by the awful finish as Mr. Fuji called on several superstars to beat down the Undertakler and despite his efforts Mr. Fuji stole Takers urn robbing him of his so called powers as Taker got beat down by the mob of superstars as Yokozuna easily placed him in the casket for the win.
