Started the rumble at #1 along with Rey Mysterio entering at #2 as the two each eliminated 6 superstars with H eliminating Simon Dean, Ric Flair, Big Show, Kane, Chavo Guerrero and Rob Van Dam and lasted 1:00:16 before being eliminated by eventual winner Rey Mysterio.

A very odd Royal Rumble as the rumble was centered around Austin and McMahan who both spent most of the rumble on the outside at one point had been taken out and taken to the hospital before returning to the arena in a ambulance as The Ministry of Darkness were putting Mabel in a hearse as Austin returned to the ring raking up a total of 8 eliminations one of them being Chyna the first ever woman to compete in a Royal Rumble match as Austin threw out Big Boss Man leaving only Austin and McMahan as the final two and would have eliminated McMahan if it weren't for the interference of The Rock who won the WWE Championship from Mankind earlier who distracted Austin leading to McMahan to eliminate him and win the royal rumble.

In Eddie's very last Rumble appearance Eddie entered the rumble at #1 with Chris Benoit entering at #2 as the pair dominated the first couple of entrants including ganging up on Tough Enough winner Daniel Puder and tossing out Hardcore Holly, The Hurricane and Booker T with aide from Benoit and Rey Mysterio Eddie would eventually be eliminated by Edge after lasting 28:11 in the rumble.

Not as impressive as his 2006 Rumble performance but still Mysterio would go on to last 48:30 minutes only eliminating one superstar Mark Henry and even avoided elimination by using John Morrison and Miz as stepping stones to get back in the ring Mysterio's luck eventually ran out when he was eliminated by Big Show alongside Mike Knox.
