Toy Story 3, How to Train Your Dragon, Tangled, Despicable Me, Megamind, The Illusionist, Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Ga'Hoole, Shrek Forever After, Batman: Under the Red Hood, Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare
Toy story 3 & how to train your dragon were awesome!
My favorite: How to Train Your Dragon
My favorite is Toy Story 3.
Big Hero 6, The Lego Movie, How to Train Your Dragon 2, The Penguins of Madagascar, My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Rainbow Rocks, The Book of Life, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, Song of the Sea, Planes: Fire and Rescue, The Boxtrolls
This was my favorite year for movies period! Yes there were duds here, but every year in this list has them
It was an okay year. There were a few poor/mediocre ones but overall, it was okay.
Dbz battle of gods released in English
We had great movies like zootopia, finding dory, moana, kubo & the two strings, trolls & kung fu panda 3. However we had terrible movies like norm of the north, the secret life of pets, the wild life, sing, sausage party, ice age 5 & many more
Illumination animation pumped out garbage this year (sorry I did not like secret life of pets or sing, let me know if you wanna know why)
The year had Zootopia, Moana, and Kubo, but that was basically it. This was not a good year. Norm of the North, The Angry Birds Movie, Ice Age: Collision Course, Sausage Party, Sing, The Secret Life of Pets, and other "Bleh" movies came this year.
The Lion Guard sucked, though.
Spirited Away, Monsters, Inc., Shrek, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase
Don't forget Cowboy Bebop the Movie
The Iron Giant, Toy Story 2, Tarzan, Seasons of Giving, Fantasia 2000, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, Wakko's Wish, Scooby-Doo! and the Witch's Ghost,
My favorite one is The Iron Giant.
My favorite: Toy Story 2
Ice Age, Lilo & Stitch, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Treasure Planet
The Wild Thornberrys movie came out this year
My favorite one is Ice Age
The Land Before Time, Grave of the Fireflies, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, My Neighbor Totoro, Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School, Scooby-Doo! and the Reluctant Werewolf, Oliver & Company, Akira
The Land Before Time is my favorite
The Simpsons Movie, my favorite movie of that year.
The Simpsons finally made it to the big screen in 2007
Ratatouille, The Simpsons Movie, Surf's Up, and Meet the Robinsons are all certified bangers.
Shoot! I accidentally voted for this one! Anyways, there's really only a few movies that stood out to me this year. So far, the only ones I believe are good on the Western side are Coco, The Lego Batman Movie, and... that's it. Japan does have Mary and the Witch's Flower, A Silent Voice, In This Corner of the World, Napping Princess, and Sword Art Online: The Movie - Ordinal Scale. I'm rather more proud of what Japanese animation has to offer for this year's Oscars, but man, WESTERN FILM ANIMATION HAS BEEN AWFUL THIS YEAR! To think The Emoji Movie, The Star, and The Boss Baby were nominated for the Oscars...
Are you joking? This is one of the worst years for animated movies in recent memory! The only outstanding animated film to come out this year was The Lego Batman Movie. Everything else this year ranges from mediocre to absolutely HORRIBLE. (The Emoji Movie...)
The only good animated movies so far, are the lego batman movie & cars 3. the lego ninjago movie, coco & Ferdinand look great though
Even this year has a gem in it (The Lego Batman Movie). Everything else was at best ok, but damn that emoji movie...
The End of Evangelion, Princess Mononoke, Hercules, Anastasia
My favorite, Disney's Hercules, came out this year!
Can't believe I had to add this.
Coraline, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Up, The Secret of Kells, Mary & Max, A Town Called Panic and Summer Wars all came out this year.
Also Happily N'ever After 2, ie. the best animated movie ever made. (jk)
You forgot Monsters vs. Aliens. 2009 was like the best year for animated movies.
Toy Story, Pocahontas, Balto, Ghost in the Shell, A Goofy Movie,
Shrek 2 and the incredibles
Wreck-It Ralph, ParaNorman, Rise of the Guardians, and The Pirates! Band of Misfits are all animation classics for the ages.
The Hobbit, Wizards, The Rescuers, Pete's Dragon, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Shoot I accidentally voted this but if this were for all movies... STURWERS
I love The Great Mouse Detective, An American Tail, and Castle in the Sky all so much.
I can't want for dbz movie 2018
We got inside out here but we also got the dreaded minions movie
I'm sorry, but if it weren't for The Lion King, this year would've been a steaming hot dumpster fire for animated films thanks to those two Don Bluth disasters that came out that year.
Well. Then I promise to stop it until you stop claiming it to be the best animated movie ever. It does not deserve to be the best in anything.
I promise to stop it if you would stop saying it that it's one of the best or better than anything else.
Lion King sucked. All other films that year were good.
A really good follow-up to the fantastic year that was 2010. In this year, we had Rango, Kung Fu Panda 2, Puss in Boots, The Adventures of Tin Tin, Winnie the Pooh, Arthur Christmas, and Cars 2 (I didn't say it was perfect). It was a great year for animation. It's just such a shame things started going down hill after that.
The year that gave us Beauty and the Beast, the first ever animated film to get nominated for Best Picture.
The Emperor's New Groove, The Road to El Dorado, Chicken Run, Titan AE, and Rugrats in Paris all came out that year.
The Prince of Egypt was the greatest thing to have come out in the year 1998.
We got mulan & a bug's life
