I noticed some tendencies in metal music development - in some years the best metal albums / songs are from the same subgenre and these years probably mark the peak of this subgenre.To every item on this list (year - subgenre) I listed bands, albums and songs. If you look at these albums and songs, grouped by year and subgenre, you will see that there is some logic in the metal music evolution.
