The TopTens Drama Rant

CrimsonShark Now, I'm not the kind of guy who gets involved a lot socially. Not because I'm Autistic, but because I do fear that I might cause an uproar which can get out of control (See the Butterfly Effect for that). But I do want to address this issue, considering its a pretty hot topic and its going on on this site far too long.

God I hate the drama forced into this site. Here, the hated pits off against everyone, and at times, even the best users of this site tend to display some negative traits (Apologies if I offended). It reminds me of a dramatic (or "overdramatic and stupid") sequence you see in every Asian drama. Thank god pounding music isn't used in this situation because to be honest, it would make, let's say, and argument between ModernSpongeBobSucks and Disney1994 or WonkeyDude98 and BoredJeff02 completely hilarious and over-the-top.

I've heard of the retirement of PhantomMilitia and I can understand why he left. He had a legitimate reason and he deduced that the drama going on here was going way too out of hand and he was becoming a victim upon the fact he was getting hated for reasons he supposedly was never involved in. A good friend of mine, jack2244 has also grown frustrated and desensitized due to how ridiculous and pointless these arguments could go on.

Honestly, I would LOVE to talk to people on this site, I really do. But the problem is that who is the right person to interact with because in the next second, hell would break loose and two users would start to bicker about "Who's taste is better" or "why you should GTFO of the site". And when more people get involved, its just going to make the whole situation worse.

I joined the site out of boredom, but I've ultimately started to feel accepted and I have some good friends to back me up (E.g. ModernSpongeBobSucks, TwilightKitsune, EliHBK, jack2244, Powerfulgirl10 and NikBrusk). Hell, I can actually tolerate users like Disney1994 (I've DM'ed him a few times BTW). Thing is, I'm not the kind of guy who wants to spread negativity around the site. But because we all have that one thing we happen to have a distaste on, but one user somehow likes, comments start raining down on how sh*t your taste is, and then somebody is going to spew out some profanity and a war begins. And at the end of the day, who does it benefit? Yeah, I think you know the answer.

To be honest, PhantomMilitia did the right thing. So did BoredJeff02. Personally for me, I'm staying on this site, because, well, I feel like I could contribute to something. In addition, we're doing a pretty mediocre job in honoring Kylie (DisneyAnime1234) anyway, considering the situation that is going on right now. How about we start to just get along and try to make the site a better place. How about offering the admin a few new ideas to expand the versatility of the site, such as forums, a discussion thread, a memorial service, etc.

Anyway, this should conclude my rant for now. DM me and talk to me if you like. In addition, apologies to anyone whom I have offended. Thanks for reading :).

I agree wholeheartedly with this post. And I admit that my obsession with opinionsarenotwrong really got out of hand. Thankfully, he's no longer as suicidal as he used to and I haven't gotten involved with any drama surrounding him since there hasn't been said drama lately. However, I'm still annoyed by how pop and metal fans are constantly bickering at each other like bitter enemies even after the whole war between them ended months ago. And about the new idea suggestions, those would be wonderful additions to this website.

Most of the fights are on here are caused by music. The over-abundance of metalheads seem to be very defensive and they assume that all of the metal haters think they're pop hating elitists. WE DO NOT THINK THAT.

I was in the Zootopia Controversy and it was just so annoying that one user could not take criticism for his poor reasoning and immature comments.
