Pretty awesome unreleased song from the Meteora era of Linkin Park. Very excited for the 20th anniversary of Meteora and what these unreleased songs/demos will be like!
Aaah, it's so nice to hear Chester's voice again! Can't wait to see what the 20th anniversary edition of Meteora will be like.
Soaring in the stratosphere guitar.
I'm aware only went to #1 because of my remix, but PLEASE give this a listen! This is one of the most incredible, grand, and uplifting pop songs I've ever heard in my entire life. The album this comes from (That! Feels Good!) is probably the best pop album of the decade so far - if you haven't listened to it, give it a spin. You won't regret it.
The Newcomers
This hypnotic and dreamlike song is my current favorite of 2023 as of August. My love for this song took me down a hazy path into Slowdive's discography and other shoegaze albums.
Easily the best track off of Diamonds and Dancefloors. I will never tire of thematics that illustrate ghostly figures as premonitions of the lovely but fearful psychological terrors that torment the mind, the danger that they provide impacting you even when they're not around. It's a perfect mirror of 'Cold as Ice', with a shifted perspective of who's really the true hexing enchantress in the relationship.
Lana Del Rey keeps on impressing me with this new track. It starts off as a folksy ballad, before slowly morphing into a trap beat. It also features some of Lana's best lyrics to date. I can't wait to hear the album.
Another nice rocker by Måneskin with a catchy chorus. Tom Morello's solos are nice too, although they're kinda generic.
Another great song by Paramore. Looks like their album will be awesome.
They only had 2 big hits & they're still relevant. Shows you the music industry likes to focus on what's trending because that's what pop music is.
He breaks the follow-up single curse with flying colors! A heavenly sample use that reimagines and augments its source material into a new context, harmonizes splendidly with Sanchez's retro-esque romantic entrancement sound, and incredibly loving protective allures to be enthralled in. Deserves every ounce of praise and attention it could receive, period.
