This song is so beautiful and heart-wrenching. One of the absolute best songs from the Barbie movie soundtrack. It needs to be way higher!

This is literally the most beautiful song I have heard in a long time, especially since it's a Billie Eilish song.

Cupid - Fifty Fifty

I liked the original version, but the Twin Version was quite bad. I wish they had featured Carly Rae Jepsen in it instead of Sabrina Carpenter.

Begin Again - Jessie Ware

I'm aware it only went to number 1 because of my remix, but PLEASE give this a listen. This is one of the most incredible, grand, and uplifting pop songs I've ever heard in my entire life. The album this comes from, That! Feels Good!, is probably the best pop album of the decade so far. If you haven't listened to it, give it a spin. You won't regret it.

This honestly might be one of their best songs.
Lost - Linkin Park

Pretty awesome unreleased song from the Meteora era of Linkin Park. Very excited for the 20th anniversary of Meteora and what these unreleased songs/demos will be like.

Ah, it's so nice to hear Chester's voice again. Can't wait to see what the 20th anniversary edition of Meteora will be like.

Finally, we haven't had anything good from Linkin Park in almost 10 years (One More Light was crap), but this song saved us. Long live Linkin Park.

I can't stand this song! It's repetitive, it completely rips off Bruno Mars' When I Was Your Man, and it's about Miley Cyrus pretending to be over her ex. Yes, I'm aware Bruno likes this song, but Sir Mix-a-Lot likes Anaconda by Nicki Minaj, so I'm not letting Flowers slide!

A nice self-empowerment track that changes from the many angry and sad breakup songs we've had over the past two years. Welcome back, Miley! I hope the album will be good.

To be honest, this song doesn't get old. Even though it's overplayed, it should be in the top 20 at least.

A&W - Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey keeps on impressing me with this new track. It starts off as a folksy ballad before slowly morphing into a trap beat. It also features some of Lana's best lyrics to date. I can't wait to hear the album.
Miracle - Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding

Is it yet another remake of a classic '90s dance song? Nope! It's an original song by Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding, influenced by trance music.
While this song does not reinvent the wheel when it comes to EDM, it still feels like a welcome breath of fresh air among all those EDM tracks we hear on the radio that are indistinguishable from one another, or that revolve around a sample or remake of a classic song (David Guetta, you heard me there). Shoutout to Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding for creating this gem that will be one of my summer jams.

I really like this 90s-style trance song. So much better than what Calvin released last year. Hopefully this is the direction he follows now, as I'd love to hear more songs like this in the mainstream.

Bad Idea Right? - Olivia Rodrigo

This song is so addictive! I can't get it out of my head. It even has an unexpected Jack White-esque guitar solo that sounds surprisingly good and not overly stylized.

Such a fun song by Olivia Rodrigo! The guitar riffs are really good too. I can't wait to discover what Guts will sound like in its entirety.

The next single for her sophomore album Guts. Another great hit with pop rock and punk.

I recently went to a Paramore concert, and they tore the house down! This deserves a higher spot!

One of the best songs of 2023. It's very catchy and well-produced.

Kisses - Slowdive

This hypnotic and dreamlike song is my current favorite of 2023 as of August. My love for this song took me down a hazy path into Slowdive's discography and other shoegaze albums.
