Top 10 Best Korean Dramas (K-Dramas)
Though it was my second drama, and even after that, I have watched many more series and am still watching, the impact of Lee Min Ho's acting cannot be erased. I think anyone who has even a little bit of knowledge about natural acting and perfect directing would surely like it. Lee Min's related field of studies made his drama worthwhile. I think it is rightly placed at number one, as every department of the drama (including story, directing, music, set, etc.) was honest with their work. If Lee Min's acting is not praised specifically, then it would be a total unfair thing.
First drama I ever watched. Loved this series! Jun Pyo was totally amazing, leading a great group of guys as F4. There were plenty of funny, romantic, and cool moments to keep you watching until the very end!
The most dramatic Korean drama ever... The first time I saw it, I fell in love with it and started to fall in love with Korean dramas. The most wonderful thing about this drama is that it has moments where there is a lot of tension, followed by a sudden twist and relief points too. I really like this drama as it has a lot of suspense, which keeps the audience entertained and, to be honest, sometimes tense, which can really make me nervous. Overall, I recommend it to people who are new to watching Korean dramas, as this drama is really interesting.
There is this scene in which Guem Jan Di asks Gu Jun Pyo if he's a genie. She says even a genie is powerless when it comes to love. It's a moment to think about. Rich, born into a powerful family, handsome, smart - yet he's no different when it comes to love, feeling powerless. He may be wishing internally that he was a commoner. All these emotions, we could see only from this drama. Although I wanted many loose ends to meet - a confrontation between Gu Jun Pyo and his mother should have been there - it still wrapped up beautifully.
I love the story. This is the only drama I've seen yet where it becomes a comedy because the actress intentionally makes it so, not just because the scene is hilarious. While all Korean actresses play cute roles, Cheon Song Yi does hers in a sexy manner. It's definitely the top one on my list.
The story itself is a masterpiece. The transitioning between scenes and the prologue-epilogue of every episode are really very amusing. It's the only drama that does this that I've seen. The end of episode one makes you want to continue watching it until the end. There are no dull scenes, and no perpetual drama scenes. Every dramatic scene is followed by a comedy scene.
THE BEST!
This is an awesome K-Drama! It's actually my first time getting addicted to such a thing. I love the acting skills of Kim So-Hyun. He's a brilliant actor. On the other hand, Jun Ji-Hyun is so pretty that I can't even believe she's already in her 30s. I love her role, and she portrayed it very well. Most of all, the story is fun and, at the same time, heart-touching. Although I'm not entirely satisfied with the ending - because, for me, I really can't consider it a happy one - I realized that the message of the story is so meaningful.
At first, I didn't like the story, but I swear, as it progressed, it made me sit on the edge of my seat! I was so hooked that I stayed up until 4 AM binge-watching. The episodes near the end made me cry so much! The acting was on point, I think. I disliked the childish acting in some parts - yes, I know it was supposed to be that way, but I really dislike the childish stomping and screaming. Don't blame me for feeling that way. I also didn't like how some of the characters were portrayed as desperate. But I'd definitely recommend it to a friend.
LOVED IT! One of the most beloved storylines ever! I loved everything about it: the beautiful storyline, the chemistry between the leads, the special effects, and the acting! This drama was a total emotional rollercoaster, and I mean that. I cried like a baby, couldn't control my emotions, and couldn't wait for another episode. I loved it so much that I kept watching the last episode until I had no more tears left in me. No other drama has affected me as much as this one. Honestly, it was a ride that I will never forget.
I loved seeing Kim Hyun Joong take on something more substantial. It was a wonderful story filled with triumph and sorrow. It shows how the underdog can overcome obstacles with desire and purpose. I would highly recommend this drama.
I loved the drama but was flustered by the pain he had to go through. I felt everything he felt. Why is this so low on the list? Maybe because word hasn't gotten around. I think it will soar up to the top 10.
This drama is underrated. I don't understand why. It's a great drama with a good story, great actors, great fights, and a fantastic Kim Hyun Joong. Perfect.
One of the best dramas of all time. The story is good, the actors are great, the fights are very good, and the songs are also very good. Watch this drama - for both women and men.
Loved it! I love it more than Boys Over Flowers and Playful Kiss because the chemistry between the leads is just brilliant. The male protagonist's expressions are worth a million dollars. To top it all off, it's a delicious mix of fun and cuteness that makes you giggle and smile. The romance makes you go aww, and the sad moments leave you teary-eyed with heavy breaths. The other shows are good too. High school romances are always fun, but this show is an amalgamation of mature comedy and the lightness of a high school romance. I wish they had been more careful with the subplot dealing with the reason and method of the magic used in the story. They could have been less ambiguous, but overall, I would give it a thumbs up!
Best drama ever! The way the actors perform feels so real. Their pain is so well portrayed that it hurts the viewer too. You know it's a good story when you're practically in tears. You smile like a fool when the main leads are together. The love the main male actor shows, and his devotion to getting the girl he wants, is amazing! It's so enjoyable to watch because he doesn't even know how much he really wants her. The main female lead is perfect in every way. I love Secret Garden and will never forget the impact it left on me.
I was always reprimanding some of my friends for watching Korean dramas and wasting their time. Then once, when I was in Sweden as a visiting researcher, I found myself almost alone with a lot of free time during the nights. I decided to watch a Korean drama and came across Secret Garden by googling. When I started watching it, I was mesmerized by everything. I finished the whole series in a few days. The dialogues were really impressive, the music was ethereal, and the performances were unforgettable. I still listen to the songs from time to time, and since then, I have watched more Korean drama series.
I had no idea about Korean series. While changing channels, I came across Secret Garden in my native language but had no clue about it. Intrigued, I began to watch and became very curious to know what would happen next. I started hunting for that series and got it from my friends. Despite working the whole day, I made time for this after work. I went crazy and completed it in 3 days. Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won, you rock!
I watched it by accident, really, and I'm not regretting it! It was funny, it was cute, and it was a medical drama that gives you hope in the renewal of love and learning from mistakes. It's another drama that gets a thumbs-up from me.
I seriously loved this drama. It has a hot cast, great romance, and it's even funny. I'd recommend this to everyone. I could watch it ten times over and I'd still be sad it ended.
The first few episodes are a bit slow, but it's worth the build-up. A delightful series about second chances. The cast is great all around.
I came across this post and the storyline intrigued me enough to watch it. Frankly speaking, it's one of those good dramas worth watching. Loved every moment of it.
Starring Jang Hyun-Suk and Park Shin-Hye, they are not exactly the dream couple, but they make it work. The concept is rather new. A.N.JELL features Jang Hyun-Suk, Jung Yong-Hwa, and Lee Hong-Ji - great cast choice. Park Shin-Hye would make a great couple with either of them. The romance is A++, as it expresses brotherly love, boyfriend love, and goofy love. Pure and true, it captures the essence of first love and honesty. The music is also A++, with great song choices at the right moments. This is a great drama if you like musicals, romance, and idols.
Absolutely amazing drama. The characters, plot, and especially the music are just perfect. It's adorable to see Tae-kyung care for Go Mi-nam, especially given his tough attitude. When I finished watching it, I felt like there was a hole in my heart - happiness that it was so good, and sadness that it was over. I 100% recommend watching it. Amazing drama!
I loved everything about this drama! The acting and plot are superb. It's funny, cute, romantic, and you will fall in love with every person in the band. This one is on my top 10 list for sure and is a must-watch at least once. Watch it, and you won't regret it. Jung Yong Hwa is a great actor and musician, and Jeremy is adorable too. It's great to watch for all ages!
I like this drama. I downloaded it onto my laptop, and I watch it whenever I want. I like the hero and heroine, especially the girl. Jeremy's acting is also something to note. I had never watched any Korean serials before. This was my first. I loved it very much. With the help of subtitles, I understand what they're expressing. The acting is amazing.
As it is a legal drama (of sorts), there are some very unrealistic moments. However, this doesn't take away from the incredible quality. The writing is impeccable. The female lead challenges the stereotypical image of the media's Asian woman. There's an interesting dynamic between the main protagonists that you won't find in any other drama. It's full of twists and turns, tragedies, comedy, and heart-wrenching romance. I'll tell you it ends in a happy ending, but if you can't handle anything too realistic or hard-hitting, and you hate crying, this drama might not be for you. Otherwise, definitely give it a go. Even though it has weird pacing, you'll likely be hooked within the first 30 minutes.
This was a very well-written drama. There were lots of pros in this drama. The main actors had very good chemistry. The storyline in this drama was very consistent, which kept me hooked. The only downside, in my opinion, was the way the drama ended.
It was an okay ending for an amazingly set-up plot. The ending was a bit of a letdown because I was under the impression that it was going to be epic. Other than that, the development of this drama was amazing. The storyline has a lot of emotional impact. This drama was certainly different than most dramas that I've seen. Definitely check this drama out if you like non-cliché dramas!
I watched this when I was in middle school, and to this day, it is still my #1 choice. Though the female lead is a bit older than Lee Jong Suk, the chemistry between them works so well. They're adorable together! I personally think a "good" drama is one that evokes every emotion, and I have to say, this drama is way past "good." Every episode seizes my attention, and I genuinely feel what's happening - be it sadness, joy, anger, or some other emotion. I don't think any other drama will ever surpass "I Hear Your Voice."
I Hear Your Voice is one of my favorite dramas that Lee Bo Young has portrayed. Sometimes I feel that pairing someone a lot younger with someone older can be awkward, but in their case, it's not. Plus, the fact that the transition of her character from My Daughter Seo Young to this one is very different shows her flexibility. I really like her - fan girl over here!
The Heirs is an ongoing show and it's one of the most popular shows this year. This is thanks to the profusion of accomplished cast members and the strong plotline. The script is written by the screenwriter of Secret Garden, and it features an abundance of talented cast members, such as Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye, who are the main characters.
In the latest episode, it ranked really high, more than 20%. The show's popularity keeps on increasing each week. Even before the show started, tons of fans were waiting for this upcoming drama. The Heirs is seriously such a good drama. I'm sure it's one of the best. You won't have any regrets watching it. Plus, it's addictive too!
I seriously think The Heirs is the best Korean drama. It may seem kind of awkward at first, but then the story keeps on getting better and better. The way it ends is so beautiful. Ugh, I couldn't get over this drama. All of the cast members are very talented and well-known, including upcoming actors and actresses. It's definitely one of the best dramas of 2013. Their ratings are really good too! The chemistry between the main characters, Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye), is perfect. This drama is really worth watching.
I seriously enjoyed watching The Heirs because of its intriguing plot and the talented actors who starred in it, such as Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, and many others. I loved the chemistry between Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang. It was so romantic and cheesy it might give you goosebumps! The story keeps getting more interesting throughout the drama and features a lot of twists and turns. The Heirs is perfect and is definitely one of the best Korean dramas I've ever watched.
I can't choose between BOF and this one, but eventually, I picked this because it's OH-SO-Awesome. I like the chemistry between Min Ho and Shin Hye, but I have to admit I was disappointed by their kiss in the last episode. That kiss should have been a little more passionate, but nevertheless, I'm still glad I watched this.
Even my mom, who wasn't obsessed with Korean dramas, loved this, so I don't have to say more, do I? For those who have not watched this awesome series yet, you definitely should! Lee Min Ho is a great actor, and I loved his character and his sexy English during the first few episodes that were filmed in California. Definitely a must-see!
When I first read the description of Master's Sun, I was kind of skeptical, but this drama is addictive. It's suspenseful, romantic, funny, and thoughtful. It's well-written, and the actors are perfect for the parts.
I loved these characters! Both the main characters and the secondary characters are charming and written with a loving hand. I loved watching them interact, seeing them gradually transform each other in deep and compelling ways, healing each other's scars, and making each other stronger and more whole.
I especially enjoyed watching the heroine, Tae Gong Sil, find her courage and power. And of course, watching the cold-hearted hero break down and fall head-over-heels in love with her, against his better judgment and despite all his defenses, is always fun.
What made me cry the most is knowing that there were only 17 episodes. I sincerely recommend the Master's Sun series and music soundtrack. The entire cast was charming and delightful to see from beginning to end.
I became overwhelmed with so many emotions. I will and must watch this beautiful drama series over and over again. My first K-drama series was Master's Sun, and my discovery was from a K-pop video by Gummy Day and Night! I personally rate Master's Sun a definite must-see. You will not regret embracing this beautiful storyline.
This is honestly one of my favorite K-dramas ever! The storyline is genius, and so is the acting. I personally love So Ji Sub and Gong Hye Jin because of their acting, and their chemistry was just so there! Not only is there romance in this drama, but there is also action and comedy.
I definitely recommend this drama to anyone who's looking for a good drama to watch. It might be a little scary for some people, but if you get past that part, you won't regret it!
So much humor is combined with horror. The female lead sees the male as her savior from the ghosts that literally haunt her until she helps them. When she touches the male lead, the ghosts literally disappear. She follows him around to remain safe, although he consistently pushes her away and avoids her. Yet when she is in a situation of danger, he shows how much he actually cares but won't admit it.
I love this story for its blending of historical and present moments. A prince from the past meets a girl from the present on a rooftop. In the end, it turns out they were destined to meet 300 years ago but missed that opportunity. The chance comes again when they are reincarnated as lovers once more. I wanted the past prince to be with the present girl, but alas, you can't stop time. I would have loved to see more love scenes and kisses, but there weren't many. There was a lot of hugging, though. Last but not least, one of the cutest actors who can really cry, shout, and play historical roles is none other than Mickey Park Yoo Chun! He's a charming guy, I must say.
The series was a bit slow in places, where it was obvious they were trying to hit a certain number of episodes rather than focusing on tight storytelling. Overall, though, it was delightful. The ending may leave a bittersweet taste in your mouth, but I loved the two leads. The supporting cast was good as well.
I admit I am biased towards DBSK, JYJ, and Park Yoochun. Even if I weren't, PYC was really outstanding in this drama series. Playing three characters in one project and being good at portraying each separate character - while giving justice to the whole story - requires a very good actor. Also, the layering of the sub-plots and weaving them all together in the end is what made this drama one of the best ever made.
This drama should remain in a place of honor as number one, and then we can start grading the other dramas, knowing they can never rise above this one. It is perfect in every aspect: story, stars, and audience emotional involvement in every scene. That is my opinion from America.
This brings a new light to politics and offers great laughs. Aside from that, the idea of a not-so-good father but a very good politician is strikingly unique. The fact that he tries so hard to bring them all together is heartwarming. Yoona's character, Nam Dae Jeung, is so loving and caring that it reflects true beauty.
Yoona is amazing. I wish there were more intimacy toward the ending, but it's kind of like a promise to a good start. So it's okay.
I really enjoyed watching this drama. It's full of imagination and humor. Yoong did a great job, as did the whole cast.
I liked that it had a mature lead male. A real adult storyline.
#16? Are you kidding me? Healer should be number 1. There's no other K-drama that can compare to it. Everything about it is perfect: the leads' acting is excellent, and so is the supporting cast. Besides, both are eye candy. This drama has everything you want: comedy, action, and romance. The pace is fast, and the main characters handle any "relationship issues" in a mature way. The OST is catchy. The plot and dialogue are unforgettable. Once you watch it, you can't get over it even after many months. It's as if you're under its spell. You can't help but tell each friend or family member about it. Healer will indelibly be etched in your mind and heart.
Every single thing in this drama is perfect! The plot is super original and really interesting. All the characters are well-written and well-interpreted. Some parts are so hilarious that you should keep the pause button close if you want to follow the plot. The romance, which is free of triangles, is just amazing. No staring at each other for ages. It's a real partnership where they listen to each other and REALLY help each other. The action is flawless and grandiose.
These elements put together become even better.
Actually, no, not everything is perfect. It should have been longer.
Hands down, this is the best Korean drama I've seen, and I've seen all of them on this list. Healer has it all: hot romance, humor, a great action-packed and twisty plot, an intriguing backstory, and fully fleshed and likable characters, including all the secondary characters. It has a deeply satisfying ending. It took me at least two episodes to get into this story - it seemed more like the same old American serial at first - but then it takes off. So stick with it!
No drama has caught my attention after *The Heirs*. I went quite some time without a great romantic K-drama, until I watched *Healer*. Why did I miss it? Why had I never found this hero before? I thought the hero in *The Heirs* was the most handsome, but the hero in *Healer* is also handsome. I love both the main characters. Their chemistry is superb. I can't stop watching it. The action and storyline are also superb. Oh my, after this, what's the next K-drama I should watch? Is there any K-drama that has it all like *Healer*?
This was a good adaptation of the manga version. The Korean drama adaptation was certainly, in my opinion, better to watch quality-wise than the Taiwanese or Japanese versions. The Korean version showed a lot more development in the quality of how the drama was filmed, including casting and location.
This drama was full of good feels. It was a little bit cliché with the storyline, but if you like that stuff, then this is for you. It was definitely a more laid-back and comedic love story. The chemistry between the main actors was quite good. Acting-wise, the drama consistently shows how the main characters change throughout the story, both as people and in their relationship with each other.
Also, the supporting characters in this drama fit well with the story. There wasn't too much screen time 'wasted' with unimportant side characters. Overall, this drama followed a pretty cliché foundation but became very original. If you are into romantic comedies, then "Playful ...more
Loved the cuteness in this show! It might be unrealistic, but everyone needs a break from reality. It's nice to watch and so funny. If you weren't a huge fan of the main actor at first, you will really grow to love him. I admit, I was a little obsessed with him for a while.
This drama was inspired by the Japanese drama 'Love in Tokyo: Mischievous Kiss' (I think that's what it's called), and honestly, I preferred the Japanese one better. So if you have watched this drama but not the original, I really recommend trying that one out. However, if you haven't watched this one yet, you should, even if it's just for Baek Seung Jo's younger brother.
If you're a person who loves to laugh, this drama is the one for you. If you love to laugh at ridiculous and embarrassing moments, well, meet your soulmate. This drama was so cute and funny. I even covered my eyes when the lead actress was about to do something I knew was just so ridiculous. I even found myself being embarrassed for her. It's a definite must-watch. However, if you're not a fan of ridiculous and embarrassing humor, this won't be your cup of tea.
A bright and cute drama with a light feel. It was so successful that they had to make a special YouTube edition. You won't be able to hate any character. It has lots of memorable scenes, and if you enjoy male leads getting jealous, Baek Seung Jo's jealousy is the one you'll enjoy the most. He tries to hide it with either smart logic or his anger.
Whether you say it's his acting flaw or whatever, his face remains expressionless when it must, and his rare smiles are actually a show to watch. This is not just for the fan girls, but for anyone who understands his character.
I've seen Itazura Na Kiss and Playful Kiss is way better. At least the male lead's character doesn't take a 360-degree turn - from someone who always tries to be cold and act smart to someone who openly shows his feelings and smiles at every little thing the girl does, just because he once confessed his feelings. It's just not logical.
Oh Ha Ni, too, is lovable despite her clumsy and stupid nature. ...more
I have never been so addicted to a Korean drama except for this one. I've watched it four times over on Netflix, and my heart still flutters during every Seo Joon and Hana scene. I'm so in love with this series. The songs and how they each play their characters are phenomenal, especially my oppa, Jang Geun Suk. He portrayed two characters with different personalities, and he nailed it. I got so addicted to the point that I've memorized the song Because it's You. I'm really hoping to see them work together again in the future.
The best Korean drama ever! It's very different from what you watch every day. I really love this drama because it's also ART, not just a common K-drama. Such a beautiful story with art and great actors and actresses. The chemistry between the leads is superb. At one point, I even thought actress Yoona and actor Jang Keun Suk were truly dating.
This is the best Korean drama that I have seen so far. The storyline is amazing. It's something that you can't get over immediately. The portrayal of characters is great. They did very well to release emotions and affect the audience, at least for me. The story is unique. Because of this, I've become addicted to Korean dramas.
This is a gateway drug for Korean dramas! It's a great place to start if you've never seen one before. There's a beautiful love story, but it's not just between Geun Suk and Yoona. It also explores the love between parents and their children.
Kim Nana was awesome. I wish they had given her more fighting scenes. She still rocked, but Lee Min Ho... wow, what can I say? I love his acting. Anything he's in, I'm going to watch. Personal Taste is a good one too. Lie to Me, Healer (like City Hunter but with a great supporting cast), It's Okay, That's Love, Secret Garden, Gu Family Book, Boys Over Flowers, You're So Beautiful, Heal Me, Kill Me, 49 Days, Greatest Love, Master's Sun, To the Beautiful You, Fated to Love You, Emergency Couple, Rooftop Prince, Dream High, My Love from Another Star, and Modern Farmer are the shows that stick in my mind the most. Sorry it's more than ten, but I hope the list will be welcomed. Oh, and I just look up an actor if I like his acting and check out his shows or movies.
City Hunter is totally amazing. I just finished watching it and miss it so much, but the cast is phenomenal. Lee Min Ho's acting is perfect, and when I found out that Park Min Young was in City Hunter, all I could think about was Healer (which I also highly recommend. It's my favorite K-drama as well as City Hunter). The show is very much like Healer. It's not only amazing but also hilarious. If you haven't watched it yet, I don't know what has stopped you, but you have to watch it. If you've already watched it, then watch it again - though doing so will make you miss it even more.
Although it kind of just goes on and on, it's still really exciting! If it were to be cropped down a bit more, it would be perfect! There's so much action, love, and excitement. It's not like all those other dramas that make me cringe just as another cliché aegyo character appears, and Lee Min Ho is so good-looking!
Park Min Young and Lee Min Ho are the best-fitting people for this drama. This drama has romance, action, and most of all, comedy! You will be sure to be entertained and also engaged in this drama. The soundtrack for the drama is a bomb too! I love it for what it is, and I will encourage everyone, no matter how old you are, to watch this drama.
It's Okay, That's Love is one of the best Korean dramas I've ever watched. The characters feel so real and human compared to other romance dramas. I love how it breaks away from the stereotypical romance where there are two guys fighting for one girl, and the girl can't make up her mind. The acting from the lead cast is amazing! The chemistry between Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin feels realistic.
I also love how the kisses are so casual and passionate, unlike other dramas where kiss scenes make the girl look like she's been frozen in place. This drama is perfect! Other dramas may only rank highly because of young actors like Kim So Hyun, Park Shin Hye, and Lee Min Ho. I'm not hating on them, though. It's Okay, That's Love is perfect for anyone looking for an interesting, passionate, and realistic drama.
It's Okay, That's Love is the 14th drama I've watched, and I must say that it is the most underrated show! This is my absolute favorite drama, and I'm quite sad that it isn't publicly listed as number one. However, it will always be at the top of my list. The chemistry is perfect, and their love is believable. I had goosebumps while being engrossed in the show, something that doesn't happen very often. Additionally, I'm usually disinterested in side stories, but I loved all of the characters. The team - comprising the cast, director, writers, etc. - is amazing.
It's Okay, That's Love is a show that has to be watched. No matter what kind of dramas you like, this will get to you and make you feel emotions you haven't felt before. With a stellar cast featuring Gong Hyo Jin, Jo In Sung, and Do Kyung So, I believe it's a drama that will leave you with memories for a lifetime. The acting is amazing, the plot is wonderful, and the show has an incredible ability to make you smile, laugh, and cry. It's definitely watch-worthy and perfect. There's no countering that.
I never signed up to comment or like anything, despite being a Korean drama lover for many years - from high school until now, as a graduate working. I've watched most of the series recommended here. This is the first time ever that I'm commenting because, honestly, it's underrated to say It's Okay, That's Love is ranked 21st. (Haha, for some reasons, I felt insulted, LOL.) Anyway, in my honest opinion, this is one of the best dramas Korea has ever produced - best acting, best storyline (funny, romantic, quality content and script, simple yet perfect), best songs/OST. It shows the meaning of life and love from different angles, simply refreshing and evergreen.
To say I loved this drama is an understatement. It was amazing. The storyline was unique. Both the drama and romance kept you at the edge of your seat, and sometimes even got you off your seat. I loved it so much that I watched it all in three days. Truth be told, I even re-watched it! The drama takes an excellent spin on the Pinocchio story, presenting it in an extremely modern and more believable way. I will be bluntly honest: you won't just like this drama, you will absolutely fall in love with it!
This drama was so good and it actually made me cry a lot. The chemistry between the two leads was amazing, so it was really exciting for me when I found out that they are dating. The storyline is unique and sad. It made me look at things differently, and I was more careful about what I said to avoid spreading rumors that could hurt anyone. This drama is one of my favorite K-dramas and comes highly recommended. You won't regret watching it. I just don't get how people can act this well. They literally blew me away with their skills. Like, WOW, I'm just amazed and I'm still thinking about this drama. LOL -E
This is probably the only drama that has ever kept me captivated until the end. It's one of my all-time favorites. The chemistry between the two leads is amazing and makes you want them to date in real life. This was the first drama I ever watched where I managed to cry. You will not regret watching it!
I felt immense thrills and was thoroughly engaged when I started watching this drama. Throughout the episodes, my interest remained high. In fact, this drama, along with a few others I've watched, has the best composition and viewpoint. This is an awesome drama, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a drama to start watching now.
This is an awesome drama! It's worth watching, and it becomes even more romantic knowing that the leads are already married in real life. The characters are great, and the plot is exceptional. It's definitely on my best list of Korean dramas.
This is so incredibly good. Ahn Jae Hyun is so handsome, and the girl from Boys Over Flowers has matured a lot! The ending was a bit open-ended, though, but the drama was perfect. They look good and cute together!
I watched it all the way through! I loved the characters' personalities and appearances. The plot is good as well, of course.
I really like the romance, particularly the way Koo Hye Sun acts with Ahn Jae Hyun. Though some parts are boring, overall it made me keep updated on this drama all the time.
Very cute and entertaining. Made me laugh and want to exercise. The main actor and actress were believable in their acting. Both are good-looking, so it was a pleasure to watch. The lead actor is so manly, and his eyes are kind. You can't help but be drawn to him, wishing he were your boyfriend. Meanwhile, the lead actress is adorable with those dimples. Don't miss this. It is a delight!
I've watched this countless times! The characters' chemistry is fantastic. I wish it never ended. I fell for So Ji Sub's character and love him even more now. The story isn't heavy at all. It's very entertaining. That's why I love it so much. The TV drama sprinkles some life lessons and hard facts here and there. I only have the best words for this drama. It's the best Korean rom-com I've ever seen.
What the heck... this should be the first one out of this whole thing. Seeing it ranked 25th, not even in the top 10, makes me really mad. This is hilarious and cute, etc. I don't get it. Whoever put this at 25th has lost their damn mind!
It's very addicting and entertaining! I even watched it three consecutive times! It made me want to exercise, haha. So Ji Sub was so charming, as was Shin Min Ah. The acting was excellent, and their chemistry was great too!
Upon seeing the title, I wondered what this would be like. But, Shin Min Ah - my God! Wow! The best part is that she gives everything to Cha Dae Woong, which clearly highlights what people are lacking in today's life. She is so selfless, and giving everything to a selfish person turns him into someone like her. I loved the way the bead moved between them, increasing the anxiety about what the final outcome would be. Again, it was a great happy ending, yet she still had a tail left. Great to watch!
I really like it, and I cried and laughed a lot. I enjoyed watching every episode. This is the first drama where I recognized Lee Seung Gi. Wow, I realized he's cute when he smiles, and he's really a good actor. He is also a good singer and has a friendly face. Shin Min Ah is beautiful. I also like the way she acts. More power.
Best drama ever! There's no rich guy and poor girl approach, like many of the Korean dramas I've watched. Shin Min Ah's acting is excellent, especially when she says "chak chiki" - laugh out loud. This will make you laugh and cry.
It's very different from what you watch every day. Shin Min Ah is truly awesome. Her face is so addictive. Watch it, and you'll agree with me.
Definitely one of THE BEST K-dramas I've watched, and probably the best out of the Reply series (thus far). Jung Eun Ji does an incredible job portraying a down-to-earth, sassy character that we can all relate to as a growing adolescent, friend, and daughter. The chemistry between Jung Eun Ji and Seo In Guk feels very real and adds to the amazingly written story. The parents, Song Dong Il and Lee Il Hwa, are incredibly talented as well. Personally, I think this drama deserves to be within the top 5 K-dramas.
One of the best K-dramas out there. Realistic and original premise (hard to come by in K-dramas), believable and endearing characters, great script, and portrayal by the cast. There's a great balance of humor and romantic elements. To top it all off, you get to listen to the cast speak in a Busan accent - love it.
The best drama I've ever watched. The story is very heartwarming and it really reminded me of my high school years. Everything that happened during our high school years is portrayed really well in the movie.
Also, the best part of all is the beautiful love between childhood friends and their beautiful friendship. Thumbs up!
One of the best dramas I've ever watched! It's funny, it's original, and I think all K-pop fans can relate a bit to Eun Ji's character. Impeccable performance from the whole cast, and amazingly original. This is worth watching. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll relate, and you will definitely take some advice with you. Beautiful drama. 10/10.
It's really interesting. When I watch a movie, there are certain things I look out for, which I got from this movie. The first Korean movie I watched was Love Me Again.
I love the lead pair, especially Han Groo. Extremely enjoyable drama. It will make you laugh and cry. I agree that this has one of the best chemistries of all K-dramas. If you like rom-coms, you can't miss this one. I just watched it a second time and have decided it's a perfect 10/10.
Best Korean Drama I've ever watched. Every episode is worth it and entertaining. If you decide to watch this, you'll be in for something great. Good drama, awesome ending.
Other good ones are:
Personal Taste
Fools Love
Discovery of Romance
Honestly, I've watched this three times already, and I think I'll watch it again! I enjoyed watching it so much. It's hilarious! Two thumbs up.
Awesome! I was reluctant to watch this drama at first since it was an old one. I just gave it a shot because it was top-picked in most of the polls and reviews. When I started watching it, I was completely hooked. Song Hye Kyo and Rain are the best couple ever. They have fantastic chemistry and are the cutest pair. This couple is the main factor that led this drama to success.
I can't believe I was reluctant to watch this miraculous drama at first. For all those who love Korean romantic comedies, I suggest this drama. Don't miss this one. Full House will make you smile, laugh out loud, and at the same time, cry. I guarantee that you will definitely fall in love with Hye Kyo and Rain.
I really love this drama! It's such a beautiful story with great actors and actresses. It's funny yet also has its own sad moments. The best thing about this drama is the heartwarming feeling it gives you. This drama is probably the only one that I wouldn't want to skip any moment of, even though I've watched it many times before. It was my first Korean drama and remains one of my top picks even after watching so many others.
When I first watched this drama, I stopped watching it at the first episode because I found it too stupendous. However, I did give it another chance and ended up loving it. The way the drama builds is great, and seeing the bond between the leads grow was really wonderful. What can I say? The romance, the jokes, the laughter, the scandal, the destiny - all these ingredients are what produced this drama. You are guaranteed to enjoy it.
This was my favorite drama for a long time. Now, I have added The Rooftop Prince, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, and Missing You to my list. I really like Rain and Micky Yoochun. I hope to see more of them this year. Good luck, and stay healthy always.
Great story and great acting. The main actor is attractive, as well as the actress. What bugged me was the heroine running away. I hated that. I felt so sad for the hero, as he cried for quite a bit. Hence, I rate this 3 out of 5 stars.
Heartwarming love story. The two leads have undeniable chemistry. This one is going to be on my all-time favorite Korean drama list.
This is the best drama I have ever watched. So much heartbreak and so much love. It's a tear-jerker for sure!
If you want to fall in love and feel brokenhearted, this is for you. Lots of tears, but after the rain comes the sun! Good story.
Coffee Prince was the first K-Drama I watched, and I was hooked within the first ten minutes. I binge-watched the entire series in a few days because I couldn't wait to see how it ended. My husband and I have watched it three times and will probably watch it a fourth time soon. I'm so impressed with the storyline and acting. Yoon Eun Hye was amazing as Eun Chan. This show was my gateway into watching nothing but Korean Dramas, and it's the one that has left me the most satisfied. The acting and storyline were great, without the cheesiness that most other shows I've watched have.
I usually avoid dramas, thinking most of them are predictable and cheesy. However, this was the first Korean film I've ever seen, and it was amazing. I loved the development of everyone's stories and relationships. Everyone basically found their perfect match. The storyline, the chemistry, the love square, and the acting - everything was perfect. I honestly cried at the last episode, something I never do, and didn't want it to end. Coffee Prince will always hold the number one spot in my heart, and nothing will ever compare to it. I thank everyone for making this series happen. It truly touched my heart. I even have it saved on my Netflix.
I think Coffee Prince serves as an amazing gateway drama, but it's also something you can enjoy at any time. It has every aspect of a beautiful story. It's unpredictably amazing, and I love each and every character in the show. Even the supporting characters were just as good as the main couple. Everyone had a story, something you don't find in every drama. It has to be the best one I've ever seen.
Honestly, this is one of the best dramas I've yet to see. Eun Chan is an inspiration. I only wish I could be as powerful as her. The way she lights up the room is truly enviable. I also loved that Han Kyul was so open to any circumstance that his love for her presented. The whole drama just filled me with butterflies. I appreciated the real-life conflicts presented through Yoo Joo and the coffee princes, adding more depth to the drama.
