Some movie years arrive with a tuxedo and a speech prepared. 2026 seems to have shown up carrying popcorn, fake blood, a space helmet, and at least one suspiciously animated farm animal.     The thankfully most likely winner of the Best Animated Feature Oscar (and Golden Globe) this year. If literally ANYTHING else wins (especially Toy Story 5 or Ray Gunn), then we would know for sure that the Academy is extremely out of touch with human society.

    If that shameless Pixar shill AniMat ranks Toy Story 5 above this masterpiece on his Top 5 Best Animated Films list of 2026, he's gonna be met with probably even more intense backlash than when he put Incredibles 2 above Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse back in 2018.

  13. Disclosure Day

    Good work from Steven Spielberg. Disclosure Day is interesting, adventurous, wild, and weird. It's like I'm watching E.T., except aliens are not real. It's a good film.

    Surprisingly great. This and Send Help. Not a fan of Spider-Man or Marvel movies. They need to take a break.

  18. Iron Lung

    Highly recommend this one. It has great acting, atmosphere, tension, and everything you could potentially want in a horror movie. The pacing might be a bit slow, but it's genuinely solid. For a debut film, Markiplier showed a lot of impressive promise here. It's solid all around and worth checking out. Also, it's better than the FNAF movies, ngl.

  19. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

    Despite trying to add in too many Easter eggs into the movie, I still enjoyed it.

    Don't listen to the critics. This was a great movie.

    Way better than the horrible AI slop ads that promoted it.

    A good recreation of the singer, his music, his dancing, and how he became the most successful singer of the '80s. It also recreates his childlike and introverted personality, which led him to almost consider animals his friends due to the strict discipline imposed by his father to help him achieve fame, depriving him of a normal childhood.

    I wish Bohemian Rhapsody was this good.

    Tuff movie. I love Michael Jackson.
