Top Ten That '70s Show Characters
Steven is awesome. I love his sense of humor and his hilarious way of saying basically anything.
My favorite line is when Red and Kitty want Eric to go to church but he won't, and this is what happened:
Eric: How come Hyde doesn't have to go to church!?
Steven: "Although I respect the Judeo-Christian ethic, as well as the Eastern philosophies, and of course the teachings of Muhammad, I find that organized religion has corrupted those beliefs to justify countless atrocities throughout the ages. Were I to go to church, I'd be a hypocrite."
This man is truly amazing.
I love Red. He tries to hide his emotions, but really wears them on his sleeve.
On the surface, he's a bad father, but he truly loves his family... even Eric. He's a good dad.
Mixed feelings. I wish they would have developed his character more.
I'm sure he has a good heart, but I think he appears mostly just harsh.
Red went through a tough time being unemployed, yet still managed to raise his family and taught Eric how to be a man.
Red is God!
Fez just lets those awkward moments shine through to make for truly hilarious scenes, such as one of my personal favorite quotes:
*In a seductive voice to Hyde's mom* "May I cut the cheese?"
Fez may have been the nicest friend on the show. His obsession with porn and candy made me chuckle many times.
But I wouldn't put him in front of Kelso, Hyde, or even Eric.
"Oh yeah, Fez is SO funny! I love his accent (fun fact: Wilmer Valderrama, a.k.a Fez, doesn't have an accent in real life), his obsession with candy, which I can totally relate to, and the fact that he was such a pervert!"
Kelso's immature and clumsy attitude made him an awesome part of the sitcom. His relationship with Jackie was hysterical because all he wanted to do was have sex. His failed relationship with Jackie helped him become a loving father in the end.
According to Kelso, he was looking for Red's saw so that he could cut down a tree because a rabbit was stuck there after Eric threw it up into the tree. Kelso wanted to cut it down so the rabbit could go back to the wild and lay its eggs. Now that's gold.
Eric is the funniest character on the show!
Roleplaying:
RED (as Eric): I'm just a skinny, smart-mouthed kid who always has something to say about everything!
ERIC (as Red): I wish I was an octopus, so I could put eight different feet in eight different asses! HAHAHAHA!
Red (as Eric): Star Wars, Star Wars, Star Wars!
ERIC (as Red in funny voice): Dead commies, dead commies, dead COMMIES!
Definitely. Along with Donna, he is one of the most underrated characters on the show!
Eric may be the most important character of the series. When he left at the end of season 7, the show just wasn't the same without him.
Arguably the funniest of them all.
Leo is... okay. I don't really understand why people love him so much and think he's the best character.
He was Hyde's boss for a little bit and then, boom, he's the new Eric. I mean, I get it. He's kind of funny. He loses his memory all the time, and I can relate to that.
Leo knew how to crack me up. The sad part was that Leo never played a pivotal role in the show. The closest that comes to mind was when he developed an interest in Kitty, but that was it!
An awesome hippie, and he played the role so well. No surprise, though, since he is kind of a real-life hippie as well, smoking ganja.
She is really an underrated character. Even if her character is supposed to be annoying, I laughed a lot when she was on screen.
I hate that Kelso and Jackie split up. They were the funniest and cutest couple ever.
She is funny, smart, and pretty.
She is the only one in which they actually showed any proper character development. In my opinion, she is the best by far!
She was the only one who developed as a character.
All people see her as the annoying girl who came to the gang almost uninvited, but she was always there for her friends.
Kitty just tries to be nice all the time, and she is so funny too.
She's the only one who can scare Red.
A lot of people talk about Donna being an independent, strong woman, but honestly, Kitty is a much better example.
She's hardworking and independent but actually treats the people close to her with compassion instead of being controlling and temperamental.
She makes the show with her signature laugh and hair!
She's actually funny... she's hilarious!
Donna should be higher on this list.
She was not only in love with Eric, she was the one who made the most sense in the entire group. Her feminist views separated her from the other ladies like Jackie, Kitty, Midge, and even Laurie.
I think Donna should be higher on this list. She's a main character and had her moments.
She's the best female character in the show! I love her!
Doofus husband of Midge, father of Donna, and almost a veteran.
By far the funniest of the family.
Underrated.
Love his character even though he is not very smart. He's funny.
I thought Laurie was kind of funny. She had her moments.
I mean, she was a skank and acted like she was eight all the time, always getting Eric into trouble. Also, I hate that some girls call their fathers "daddy." What's wrong with just "dad"?
It's a shame she and Bob divorced. They were like the grown-up Jackie and Kelso.
I feel kind of bad for Pastor Dave. He was only trying to be cool.
"So I'm on the Golden Gate Bridge, and everyone's telling me to jump. I was just out for a jog."
A great addition to the cast. Funny and charming, to be exact.
Overall, it just didn't make up for Eric's absence.
