Linkin Park is not nu-metal.

Korn is nu-metal.
Limp Bizkit is nu-metal.
Slipknot is nu-metal.
Now, would you put Linkin Park in the same genre with those bands?
Didn't even think so.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not ranting - Linkin Park is an awesome, really great band.
But they just sound way too different from those bands to be categorized with them.
Same goes for System of a Down. Would you classify SOAD with those bands, either?
Again, don't get me wrong; you're totally free to give them tons of credit all you want.
But not for the wrong reasons.
I know what you must be asking now.
What genre are they, then?
And to be honest, I'm not so certain what genre I would, in fact, put them in.
But most definitely not the same genre as Korn.
