My Top 50 NBA Players of All Time Part 5 (30-26)

Bronson Hello all. Sorry for the slow update, I have been away during spring break. Here is the next part of my greatest NBA Players list. Again, please let me know what you think so far.

#30. Shawn Kemp PF Seattle Supersonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trail Blazers, Orlando Magic.
I will admit that Shawn Kemp is one of the most underrated players of all time. He was a very explosive player, and an excellent dunker. Kemp nearly won an NBA championship. (I don't think anyone could have beaten the Bulls that year so nothing against Kemp for not winning) There is no question that Shawn Kemp is one of the best of all time.

#29. Joe Dumars SG Detroit Pistons
Joe Dumars is amazing, and he is the only "Bad Boy" that is actually not bad as he had been awarded the first sportsmanship trophy. He is, in my eyes, the second best Piston of all time. (You know who is first) Dumars is a great outside shooter and a superb assister to Isiah Thomas. Thomas and Dumars were one of the greatest backcourt duos of all time. I admire Joe Dumars and am glad to put him on this list.

#28. Jerry West SG/PG Los Angeles Lakers
An amazing scorer and assister, Jerry West is one of the first greatest players of all time. I don't know if you know this but West's silhouette is the NBA logo. This makes him an iconic figure as well as a terrific basketball player. West is also an NBA champion and he would have won more if it weren't for the Boston Celtics of the 60's. Jerry West is single-handedly one of the greatest players of all time.

#27. James Worthy SF/PF Los Angeles Lakers
People were so focused on Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar that they forgot about James Worthy. Sure Magic Johnson ran "Showtime" but who ended it. . . James Worthy! He is one of the most underrated players of all time. James Worthy is also a very respected player as Michael Jordan has him on his all time starting lineup. I admire James Worthy as well, and he deserves to be on this list.

#26. Gary Payton PG Seattle Supersonics, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat
Here is another underrated player. I think Gary Payton is one of the greatest point guards of all time. Like Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton would have won an NBA championship if it hadn't been for the unbeatable Chicago Bulls in 1996. Payton was also known for trash-talking his opponents which would make them not want to face him on the court. Gary Payton really is one of the best players of all time.

Well, there they are. Once again, I apologize for the slow update. Here is a hint for the next group. I love watching the Lord of the Rings, particularly the four hobbits, Frodo, Sam, Merry, and . . . how do you spell the last hobbit's name? Is it Pippin or "Pippen"?
