x3: So Bad vs. Problem vs. Teenage Dream
Hotheart123 I am going to review 3 pop songs: from Eminem, Ariana Grande and Katy PerrySo Bad is my favorite of the three. Eminem is seducing you using wordplay. But then he went and made the atrocious "Baby" an album later. The trumpets and other instruments of pop make this a good sex song. 10/10
Problem, the 2nd track off Ariana's My Everything album is a cute case. I like it for Big Sean's whispering, Ariana's vocals (even though her going "I've GOOOOT" is ear piercing) and Iggy adding to the song's theme. But it sounds too much like So Bad. 8/10. This is a mixture of good and OK.
Teenage Dream still manages to be poppy and sexual. It's nice hearing her songs for the most part, and this along with her other songs are very catchy, but Katy sort of comes close to sounding like Ariana. I guess we're still not over the crescendo stuff. I like the way this one sounds, but the vocals sort of don't feel pleasant to the ears. I give it a 7/10.
