Puga Now what can I say about modern Family Guy? It's the worst cartoon I've ever seen. I'm serious. And I'll be doing a few more Awfuls on their episodes, such as Life Of Brian, Seahorse Seashell Party, Not All Dogs Go To Heaven, Fresh Heir and so many more. But what season did Family Guy start sucking? Season 7. Oh, and what a coincidence, this episode is episode 9 of that very season. What are we waiting for? Let's dive in.The episode starts with Peter having an out of character slumber party with his friends. These opening five minutes could've been cut out entirely. One of the bigger problems with this 21 minute episode is that absolutely NOTHING happens. Stewie watches television only to find that the satellite has broken. He goes on the roof only for the window to close and him to be stuck up there. We get a one minute long tedious joke that goes nowhere and then the most infamous part of the episode comes on. The Conway Twitty "joke." We get, I'm not kidding, a full THREE minutes of a live action skit where Conway Twitty performs. What culture could this be considered funny? Because it isn't any culture on Earth. After that is over Lois scolds Peter for not helping Stewie and wants to get a screwdriver to fix the window. Peter searches through the drawer only to find a ticket to play a round of golf with OJ Simpson. Advertisement break. With ten minutes completely WASTED, the second half begins. The first half could be described as boring. The second half also has a lot of filler but is much more bearable we get five minutes of Peter and OJ being cruel at golf when out of nowhere, with three minutes left, the plot shows up. A mob comes to the Griffins house. OJ gives a cliche speech and everyone joins him. Then the really slap in the face ending comes along as OJ randomly murders two people. The End.
What an unpleasant roller coaster that was. There was about two minutes of plot and twenty minutes of filler. The plot dragged on, any good chances were wasted and that Conway Twitty joke! Aye aye aye.
