What's your favorite cartoons? - visitor (2/9/2017)

Well, I don't really watch cartoon shows, but I do have plenty of animated movies that I like, such as Disney classics like Beauty and the Beast. My favorite animated material overall though would definitely have to be the animated segments of the 1946 Disney film "Song of the South." It is a very controversial film, and the live-action parts aren't that interesting and have been met with lots of criticism over the years, but the animated parts with Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, and Br'er Bear are great. I love the three characters to bits, they are all so hilarious and charming. I adore the music in these sequences as well. And of course, let's not forget that these animated segments inspired my favorite theme park ride of all time, Splash Mountain! - SplashMoun10 (2/10/2017)

Why do you like Splash Mountain so much? - visitor (2/10/2017)

Well, I know it's not the most advanced or extreme ride ever, but that's not what it's about for me. I love thrill rides, don't get me wrong, but I am also one for impressive theming. There are countless rides that usurp Splash Mountain in terms of thrill, but in terms of music, story, characters, detail, and just overall charm and enjoyment, it excels at. I know most people here probably don't really think about all of this when it comes to theme park rides, but if you're a Disney/Universal park nerd like myself (I even came to TheTopTens from a Walt Disney World website) you really do think and care about all that stuff. It was also a childhood favorite of mine, so there's that as well. - SplashMoun10 (2/11/2017)

By the way, if anyone wants to see a video of Splash Mountain, I highly recommend watching this one, considering a lot of the most viewed videos aren't of the highest quality and, especially in the case of the Walt Disney World version, a lot of the ride effects and figures aren't working properly in them. Favorite Characters: Br'er Fox, Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Bear, Belle, Cinderella, Mary Poppins, Princess Leia, Gandalf, Bilbo Baggins, Indiana Jones, Captain America

I like classic rock, hard rock, alternative rock, jazz, swing, folk, bluegrass, SOME pop, and classical. I'd probably say that Queen is my favorite band.
