Happy Late Revolver Turns 50 Day

jp12960 On August 5th, 1966, The Beatles released what would become one of the greatest albums of all time, Revolver

The album itself explored further the possibilities of experimentation in the recording studio after the success of their experimental folk album, Rubber Soul. It is an experimental psychedelic pop album, including songs like Taxman, Eleanor Rigby, and Tomorrow Never Knows. The album included new recording techniques (Automatic Double Tracking was one of them) and sees further improvement in their songwriting abilities (Most Notably, George Harrison's) It is in my opinion, their greatest studio production to date.

The album was followed by their last formal tour EVER (Due to not being able to perform the songs from the new album, inability to hear themselves, and tired from touring overall and being the mop-top boys from Liverpool ) overall and in the United States and caused a lot of public mishaps (Due To Lennon's remarks on Christianity earlier that same year), and ended on August 29, 1966 at Candlestick Park, marking the end of their touring years and the beginning of their studio era.

P.S. This is my first post. Oh, and Long Live The Beatles!
