Night Time, My Time, which will turn 12 in 2025, is still Sky's only album to date.

She has been teasing her sophomore album, Masochism, for about a decade, but there is still no news about it. Hopefully, it will come out this year!

  9. Harry Styles

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer and songwriter. He initially gained fame as a member of the boy band One Direction. His solo work is great. It would be nice if he released another album. He is definitely the most talented member of One Direction, in my opinion.

Harry Styles hasn't released a song for almost two years. Hopefully, he releases something in 2025.

  10. Madonna

Madonna Louise Ciccone, known professionally as Madonna, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman. She has influenced many artists, including Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Beyoncé Knowles, and Britney Spears. Often referred to as the "Queen of Pop," she has played a significant... read more

Madonna is slowly nearing the end of her career, but it would be nice to see her release a new album that honors her legacy instead of hopping on trends, which she has been doing for over 15 years.

Edit: She just announced that she's working on a new album with big-name producers like Max Martin and Stuart Price (who produced her 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor, and directed her Celebration Tour). I'm not asking for a COAD Part 2, but this is probably a good sign for the direction of her next album.

It has been four years since Madame X.

  11. The Newcomers

His latest album Justice will soon turn four, and he hasn't released a new solo single since 2022, when he decided to take a break due to illness. He also welcomed his son, Jack Blues, in 2024.

There is good hope, however, that he will come back in 2025, because he was filmed working in a studio with Mk.gee. This makes me curious about the direction his new music will take. His fatherhood has also likely inspired him to write new songs.

  17. Kem

  18. Grimes

Claire Elise Boucher, better known by her stage name Grimes, is a Canadian musician, singer, and songwriter. She is also a music video director and record producer. Grimes is known for her experimental approach to pop and electronic music and has released five studio albums.

Her latest album Miss Anthropocene dates back to 2020. Since then, she has split from Elon Musk and released some lukewarm singles in the months that followed the split.

Hopefully, she will release a new album this year.

  19. Eminem

Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, is an American rapper, actor, and music producer born on October 17, 1972, in St. Joseph, Missouri. 20. System of a Down

System of a Down, formed in 1994, is an Armenian-American alternative metal band from Glendale, California. The band name is sometimes shortened to System or SOAD. They're known for their politically charged lyrics, often addressing topics such as genocide and war, in songs like Holy Mountains, Prison... read more

It doesn't seem very likely to me. Serj and Daron can't agree on a direction to take SOAD in the slightest.

I'd say the chances of a third Scars on Broadway album are more likely, as are the chances of another solo Serj album. I think they should just disband at this point. It says a lot when Tool was able to release an album quicker than them.

Since their 2010 reunion, SOAD have released one single only, but no album yet.

They haven't hinted at any new material in the past years and have only been touring.

  21. Jaheim

Jaheim Hoagland, born May 26, 1978, is an American R&B singer and former rapper. Bush is known for her eclectic musical style and has received critical acclaim and numerous awards throughout... read more

She hasn't released an album since 2011, but considering Kate Bush is known for being a recluse, she probably couldn't care less about releasing new music - especially since her 1985 hit "Running Up That Hill" had newfound popularity in 2022 thanks to its use in the Netflix series Stranger Things.

Still, let's hope she releases one album this year or soon.

Kate Bush releasing an album in this decade would be amazing!

  23. Webbie

Webster Gradney Jr. (born September 6, 1985) is an American rapper and actor from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He has been signed to the independent Trill Entertainment label since 2003. Before releasing his solo debut album Savage Life in 2005, he collaborated with Lil Boosie on two albums, Ghetto Stories... read more

With John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, he gained worldwide fame as a member of the rock band The Beatles, one of the most popular and influential groups in the history of pop... read more

It's amazing to know that Paul McCartney is still making music and touring after turning 80. Apparently, he's still rocking onstage.

His latest album, McCartney III, which was recorded during the pandemic, was really good. I'm very curious to hear what Macca can offer at such an advanced age.

He has been trying to purchase back the legal rights to all of his early Beatles songs.

If successful in his legal fight, a remix of his own favorites would be an awesome album. They actually had over 200 songs, so several albums could result.

  27. Lorde

Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor (born November 7, 1996), better known by her stage name Lorde, is a singer-songwriter from New Zealand. She released her debut EP The Love Club in 2012 and rose to international fame with the single "Royals" at age 16.... read more

    Her albums have a four-year gap between releases: 2013, 2017, 2021, and now 2025?

Kesha is finally free from her contract with Dr. Luke (more like "Dr. Puke"), so I can't wait to see what her musical output in 2025 will be like.

Her 2024 single "Joyride" is a good reason to be excited.

  29. Robyn

Robyn is probably the most underrated pop singer ever. Her latest album, Honey, was released in 2018, which was almost seven years ago. It would be great to see her release an album in 2025.

Also, I will never forgive Calum Scott for turning her 2010 dance-pop gem, "Dancing On My Own," into a boring piano whinefest. He stripped the song of all its uplifting energy and garnered a billion streams on Spotify with his version, while the original only has 350 million streams. That is truly a disgrace.
