Why is it number one, well look at what happened to dino 'culture' after JP, any kind of raptor like dino was given the JP look, every movie with dinosaurs, they need to have aJP looking raptor creature. After JP3, Spino became the ultimate killer dino, every movie, every video game especially has spino be a boss or look like a total badass. The actual creature was probably less intimidating, a fish eater that hung around the water. The spine could have been used for a lure or mating ritual. Also a spino couldn't fall over because if it did, it would break its 'sail' aka it spine, and would die. Another thing that kickstarted because of JP3, look at the design of spinos after JP3, and the ones before, very different.
