Worst Prehistoric Animals

For creatures we are not the fan of or could impact modern species. Feel free to add any prehistoric creatures that you disliked and/or the creatures that would have an impact in today's world, it has to be a real prehistoric creature (like Carnotaurus, etc, not fictional ones like goku and such).

The Top Ten
  1. Saltasaurus

Worst because the hatchlings make annoying sounds similar to bear cubs, and the real Saltasaurus hatchlings might have sound like bear cubs.

  2. Megalodon

The megalodon, an extinct species of shark, lived until about 1.5 million years ago. It reached lengths of up to 59 feet (18 meters), making it much larger than today's great white shark.

Megalodon had more than 250 large, razor-sharp teeth, and its massive jaws could easily swallow a human. Fossils... read more

It is just an oversized shark, nothing is unique about this Cenozoic fish.

  3. Carnotaurus

Why does it look like a devil from fiction? I don't know why.

  4. American Lion

It is just a lion only living in the Americas.

  5. Ichthyornis

It would be really annoying if alive today especially if they steal food like seagulls.

  6. Giant Vampire Bat

This extinct gigantic Ice Age vampire bat would cause problems in today's world if they drank blood out of domestic livestock and if they spread modern diseases like rabies.

I didn't knew that this existed

  7. Giant Cheetah

It is just an oversized lion-sized cheetah.

  8. Argentavis

It's just an oversized version of today's condors and vultures, I mean, what's so exciting about basically just oversized versions of today's animals?

  9. Megalania

It is just a large monitor lizard.

Megalania is still alive, a small surviving population of Megalania are still active in Australia

  10. Cretoxyrhina

It is just a Mesozoic counterpart of modern great white sharks. What's so exciting about that?

  11. The Contenders
  12. Irritator
