NFL 2010’s Report Card Part 1: The NFC East

Well with the Conclusion of the 100th NFL Season and the 2010’s decade let’s grade the NFL teams by division and see how well they did. Note That this is excluding the 2020 playoffs

Dallas Cowboys (88-77). B- Win %; 53
Playoff Appearances 3
Playoff Record 2-3
Division Titles 3
Head Coaches 1.5
Best Result 2016

Overall Decent in the regular season but a bit underwhelming in the playoffs. And that’s especially true under Jason Garrett. Why is he still here? This team has had talent to get an A but they just underachieve.

Philadelphia Eagles (91-76). B+ Win %; 54
Playoff appearances 5
Playoff record 4-3
Division Titles 4
Head Coaches 3.5
Best Result 2017

Really they’re the best of this division but outside of their Super Bowl they have been kinda underwhelming in the playoffs. Still they have been solid overall outside of the Chip Kelly era. Doug Peterson has been decent and they have made the playoffs in 3 straight years now. Fly Eagles Fly

New York Giants (74-91). C. Win %: 44
Playoff appearances 2
Playoff record 4-1
Division titles 1
Head Coaches 3.5
Best Result 2011

A pretty mediocre decade for the G men they did derp their way to a Super Bowl over The Pats but outside of that what did they really Accomplish? Eli has kinda regressed now and having Ben McAdoo as head coach doesn’t help matters either.

Washington Redskins (62-99-1). D- Win%: 38
Playoff appearances 2
Playoff record 0-2
Division titles 2
Head Coaches 2.5
Best Result 2012

Washington has been pretty disappointing for the entire decade and really ever since Dan Snyder took over. They were a dominant force in the 90s but now that’s all they can cling on to. They won the division twice and that’s really the only bright spots they have to speak of. I mean you can’t even get out of the wild card game? They haven’t made the playoffs since 2015 just an overall pathetic franchise

Division Totals: (315-343-1) Win %: 47
Average Wins 78
Average Losses 85
Playoff Record 10-9
Super Bowls: 2
