Most Disturbing Kids Shows of All Time
There are some kids shows that are great. But then, there's this. Some "kids" shows that are... not so great. They're scary. Creepy. Disturbing. So here's a list for them. Enjoy.
well I like dark and mysterious and its not Childish well I rate it 10/10 and its 10+ and I like this show also this is one of darkest shows ever and not for Anyone under 10 or younger.
I don't think this show was meant to be a kid show.
I think it's for teens and adults.
I'm 13, I've seen one episode (the mask), and it was pretty dark and creepy, but I enjoyed it cause I love being scared.
This is a good show for people who like dark and mystery things.
But it's not for kids, I think I can make them have nightmares.
But anyway, It's a good and enjoyable creepy show, and it actually has good messages. But it's inappropriate for kids.
16? This has got to be like top 10 at the least. No other shows has gave you consistent dark episodes like Courage did in almost every single one it seemed like.
This show was amazing, however as a child, the blue thing from the very last episode made me have nightmares for weeks.

Morso isn't itself a show, but a character from one: Aasi, Morso ja Mouru is a Finnish cartoon. Aasi means donkey, Mouru is the cat's name and Morso is based on a pug.
That would give most kids nightmares, who thought it was a good idea to give a character in a kids show this kinda face
It even looks creepy.
Scariest thing ever

Just the commercials for this terrified me. I wasn't brave enough to watch it. It might even be as bad as MAD. Maybe even WORSE!
Just look at their faces.

Ren and Stimpy pioneered the gross-out/shock-comedy genre.

Saw dark harvest when I was like 5 years old, too stupid to comprehend what I just saw before my eyes, but it was scary and soon after I forgot what the show was, but I could not remember what it was called. I finally found it again and I rewatched it, I don't know how this came to air, but I am glad it did
I remember seeing this show when I was younger (like 6 or 7), and I did not like it. However, I recently saw a clip on YouTube, and found it funny. So maybe this show isn't as bad as I remembered.
This showed organs in a graphic way for a kids show! Really scary animation
Dark, but the best way ever.

The idea of this show in a nutshell:
Company: Okay, we need to make a new kid show! Any ideas?
Worker #1: A show about ponies!
Worker #2: A show about puppies!
Worker #3: A show about a creepy person named after a puppet from Saw while the mask looks like it's staring at your soul.
Everyone: ?
(Worker #3 inserts the VHS)
(Show plays)
(Worker #3 sneakily slaps the TV-Y rating on the show)
(Show ends)
Company: Who rated this TV-Y?
Worker #2: It should've been TV-14!
Worker #1: Or TV-MA!
Company: Did you do this, sir?
Worker #3: What? We needed a kid's show!
Company: (yeets the worker out the window)
Company: Let's work on a kid's show about ponies.
Worker #1: Yes, sir.
Not only that, but how did they approve of the character he looks like a dude who could murder people, and that is not good. How appropriate of another horror fictional character.
Who saw this mask and said: "Hmm, yup! Perfect for children! They aren't going to have nightmares of this guy coming into their house, and people aren't going to make fan-fics on this guy being a murderer!
Creepiest T.V. show based on a horror movie

I heard somewhere else that this show was trying to hypnotize children! Someone else said that they saw the sun's face turn into a demon face! This was on Quora, if you want to try and find the posts. - GothTomboy9
Ya know, when you watch it in black and white, it is very scary.
Am I the only one who finds the Teletubbies cute?

Only know about this show from BlameitonJorge's video. It looks very bizarre.
This isn't a show. It's a character off of a T.V. show called Slniecko.

Well just looking at the picture alone is very justifiable being where its at, but the lazy animation makes this one uneasy for a younger audience.
That face is just... disturbing!

How is this disturbing?
I think you meant the 1998 show.

Well if you read the books they are disturbing, and even the show itself lives up to that promise. ''You will beware, you're in for a SCARE! '' Indeed we are.
The episodes with Slappy genuinely scare me as an adult, other than that, it's not. Even when I was 8 and first saw it I was rarely scared.
I like this show, but some episodes are gross.

Peppermint Park is just about human puppets teaches kids in just disturbing way.
It looks like those puppets sounds like they put real humans and some stuff.
And it also looks like Jim Henson killed kids and look at them.
Do you just see the picture above? It's just a result like it was made in human flesh that mixed with plastic ala Shayne John.
And dat rabbit! That's from the different show! I mean that rabbit looks so real like it was just made in real human rabbit.
And much of a lost brother of Bugs Bunny and much of an early version TTG.
And if you want to see more about the show.
Search blameitonjorge on Youtube with the title Top 20 Unintentionally Disturbing Kids Character or Mr. Nightmare's same video.
I have a strange feeling in my gut that the Peppermint Park demons kidnapped the vintage Sesame Street characters that aren't on the show!
Wow, this show is amazing. Too bad it's lost. I wish that someone would release it on DVD or Netflix. Such a shame.
Just looking at this picture from the show makes me think this is an abysmal rip-off of Sesame Street!

People are so stupid f they say this is funny they are thinking of the first crappy season season 2 is downright dark one episode literally had blood!
Oh, come on guys!
This is a disney show, and it ain't disturbing at all.
It's not for little kids, it's for pre-teens and teens.
I'm 14 and I started watching this show when I was 8, and I still love it.
I love the mistery, the storyline and the characters.
This show shouldn't be on the list because it's hilarious!
Occasionally disturbing, but in a good way!
A crappy cartoon is nothing to be scared of.

This is a bad show, no doubt, but possibly better than a lot of shows here (especially Breadwinners, which is only #24 while this is #11).
Retards always calling shows like this "weed". Its just an unusual show, but the Teletubbies were cute this was unusual.
Why you shouldn't give the Teletubbies weed.

The most horrifying animation ever! It looks like a show that would have gore or organs!

Yep this show was extremely trippy for a Cartoon network show. There are ton of moments you can feel uneasy watching this show. Do I need to mention the Cat's sockets.
I've only seen this show air twice, and on boomerang.
I seen the first few episodes and I haven't seen things like cat sockets.
I remember this! It's very forgotten but I still like it.
This had gore and scary images!

While it's good that this show is in the Top 10, it really SHOULD be higher than Gravity Falls. I don't like either, but if I HAD to chose which is worse, it would be Sanjay and Craig. I mean, over half the jokes in this show involve butts, barfing, pooping, peeing, mucus, stinky armpits, and pretty much EVERYTHING gross. And when it's not based on the butt jokes or other gross things, it's just plain stupid and annoying. Even the theme song sucks! Sanjay and Craig is just MORE proof that Nickelodeon is dying. From Fanboy and Chum Chum to Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, Nick has had some REALLY bad buddy shows. But then this came, and all but DESTROYED Nick FOREVER! And then, just when we think that there can't POSSIBLY be ANYTHING worse than this, they bring us Breadwinners. Breadwinners is pretty much this or Fanboy and Chum Chum but with ducks, and they don't even LOOK like ducks, nor do they ACT like real ducks. They, like Sanjay and Craig before them, do constant butt jokes ...more

this looks like some kind of 30 minute made show by that I mean it looks like it was made in like 30 minutes and looks like it was cheaply made no kid should watch this.
This actually was loved by Brazilian kids. If American children saw this, they would be terrified.
Ugh! Captian Falcon gonna falcon Punch that ugly hideous thing for frightening kids!
Also known as stranger danger if anything.

Steven Universe is amazing! The only disturbing episodes were: Frybo (a living killer suit is creepy), Keeping It Together (corrupted gems are scary), the one with the Glitched City (everyone was soulless), and Nightmare Hospital (again with the corrupted gems)! Other than that the show is pleasant, and I really do recommend it! 10/10
This was very intense it scared us when we were 8! We were a wuss !
The episode Keeping it Together is pretty disturbing, but not the rest of the show

A pineapple, okay?

Oh god, this show is DARK. So much creepy imagery and plot lines. How is it so low? This is definitely more disturbing that Gravity Falls (even though that show is creepy too).
This had crushed souls! And scary villains!

Imagine in 1986, and you were forced to watch this, I would feel bad for you. You'd rather put on Sesame Street.

Thankyou to the person who put this show on the list. It is the most evil, racist, mean-spirited and unpleasant show on Television. Farfour (The Mickey Mouse Rip-off) and the others get killed in this abomination. Who would let their kids watch this.
Thank you to whoever submitted this. This show is just evil. It has killed off several of its main characters, promotes hatred and anti-semitism (in a show for children), and one of the characters rips off Mickey Mouse.
It features a Mickey Mouse knockoff named Farfour who is used to promote antisemitism, anti-Americanism, and hatred to children.
What kind of kid show is this?

I'm honestly surprised this show isn't higher up on the list. I personally love this show and it doesn't scare me, but it was for kids and I can understand why some little kids might be scarred by it. In almost every episode one or more of the characters just straight up die, sometimes in brutal and bloody ways. It's not all just death though, there is a lot of slapstick comedy and weirdness mixed in and I love it. It can actually be pretty funny sometimes.
Hate me all you want but, I loved it.
But, respect your opinion though
I love it honestly

The only scary thing about this show was that skit with those unholy puppets...
The only scary thing was the puppets. It was my favorite show as a little kid.
This show was great when I was a kid.
I have Deja Vu with this show...
