Top 10 Best Glee Couples
Some couples make you swoon. Others make you shout at your screen in pure frustration. Glee had both, sometimes in the same scene. That's part of what made the show so addictive: every hallway glance, slushie to the face, or over-the-top duet came with relationship drama baked in.
Whether you rooted for the underdogs, the power duos, or the chaotic flings that burned bright and fizzled fast, this list is where your loyalty gets counted.
Here's your chance to speak up for the pairings that had real chemistry. Or at least the ones that could nail a duet without storming off stage halfway through. Vote for the couples you think deserved the spotlight.

Kurt and Blaine
When "Glee" first aired, I was struggling to come to terms with my sexuality. There were few mainstream television characters around my age who were openly gay, and then came Kurt Hummel. I loved Kurt, but the context of his character honestly terrified me. In season two, the fact that he had to transfer schools because of bullying made me very worried about coming out, something I was feeling more and more that I would need to do sooner rather than later.
And then came Blaine, a confident, happy, well-adjusted out gay character. Much as he inspired Kurt, he inspired me, minus their sexual tension. When they got together, it showed proud, gay love that was as tender and moving as any teenage love. It was largely due to their coupling and success that I found the confidence to come out when I did, a little over five years ago.
Honestly, I loved their breakups because they provided good song opportunities, and I trusted the writers to believe they would come out the other side better for the experience. Klaine was a beautiful love story that was (realistically) deeply flawed but ultimately worth it. Their relationship was never about them being gay men. It was about them being young people in love. It did and continues to inspire me, and I will always be grateful for the presence of Klaine on television. Plus, Darren Criss and Chris Colfer are just generally awesome actors, singers, and people, so who wouldn't love Klaine?

Brittany and Santana
These two were my obsession for so long. Their love story is amazing. As friends first, they were able to explore their more-than-platonic feelings together as they fought to overcome prejudice in Santana's family. They were always there for each other, they never cheated, and they were best friends. For a long time, these two didn't get much screen time, but their background moments came through in expressing how much the two cared, even before officially getting together.
OMG! Where do I start? Heather's dancing is THE best on the show, and Naya's singing was one of THE best on the show! They're both pretty, popular, talented performers who are nice on the inside and would do anything for each other. Of course, they aren't flawless! They had errors, and the great part about that is they worked it out! They were so good together!
-
Finn and Rachel
One of TV's most iconic couples. They complete each other perfectly because Rachel has the passion and ambition that Finn lacks sometimes, and Finn has the kindness and compassion that Rachel lacks sometimes. Together, they are so strong, and let's not forget about the inevitable musical chemistry between them!
I am not entirely a fan, but I also don't despise their relationship. It's just that they are too opposite for me. Honestly, there were a lot of sweet moments from these two that made me really happy and rooting for them.
-
Tina and Mike
They were the only drama-free couple on the show. Unfortunately, this means they were pretty much also storyline-free, other than Mike's challenges with his family. Tina supported him through it all, standing up to his father and submitting his college applications. It's a shame these two weren't endgame. I'm always up for one of McTina Cohen-Chang-Chang's Asian kisses.
The unproblematic couple. I just love them. So easy-breezy, just chilling and swaying at the back of the choir room/auditorium and their reactions during those performances and their funny one-liners. They are a couple icon. Sad that they had to end their relationship for good.

Will and Emma

Quinn and Sam
These two were only together for a short time before Quinn left Sam for Finn, something I never understood. Quinn cheated on Finn with his best friend! So many rhyming words! Anyway, the two had really great chemistry, and I wish they could have lasted a little longer.
This was such a waste of chemistry between two actors (Chord and Dianna). I really hated how Ken and Barbie was so short-lived. From the start (S2), the connection between both characters was undeniable. Right?! But I've already come to terms that they aren't for each other. So... yeah!
-
Marley and Jake
They are new characters in the show, and I love them so much together.
I wish they had more closure. They were amazing and deserved way better.
-
Brittany and Sam
This was too sweet, honest, and cute. So pure that we know there was love somewhere in the short time that Bram existed.
I liked Brittana better, but Brittany and Sam have good chemistry and they seem good together.
-
Sam and Mercedes
Samcedes was my personal favorite couple on the show. They should have been endgame along with Finchel (R.I.P. Cory/Finn). They should have dated in season 6 instead of that damned, awful, infuriating, ugly relationship between Rachel and Sam. Here is my opinion:
#1 Samcedes
#2 Finchel
#3 St. Berry
#4 Quick
#5 Brittana
#6 Klaine
#7 Puckleberry
#8 Wemma
#9 Burt and Carole
#10 Tike
So much love and mutual respect for each other!
Their love was real. I found it so cute how Sam tried to win Mercedes back in Season 3.
-
Quinn and Puck
This is my favorite couple on the show. What I like about them is that, through their toughest moments, they always managed to be there for each other. When Quinn got pregnant, Puck was there to help her with anything and everything she needed. When Quinn was having some issues at the start of season 3, Puck was there to restore her to her true self. When Puck got a second chance to take his exam, Quinn made sure he passed.
When it was Thanksgiving, Puck was there to finish Quinn's next line in the song. When Quinn was dating the wrong guy, Puck helped her see that he was all wrong for her and that she belonged with her friends in the choir room. He also helped her see that she should break up with Biff, and they officially began dating. So you see, Quick was always meant to be, from beginning to end.

Quinn and Rachel
They should've happened. This ship was powerful.
-
Tina and Artie
During Season 1, they were such a cute and lovable couple! I miss them together, even though I ship Tike!
-
Kitty and Artie
The most unexpected couple in the show so far. Kitty is actually a better person when she's with Artie.
This relationship pretty much grew on me.

Brittany and Artie

Rachel and Jesse
Finn left Rachel at one point because she made out with Puck, and then he got back together with the girl who slept with Puck. In most cases, he would have picked Quinn over her. The worst thing Jesse did to her was put an egg on her head. You could tell that he hated going back to Vocal Adrenaline and that he really loved Rachel. I'm really glad that they ended up together, even though it probably would have been Finn and Rachel if it weren't for... well, you know.
You can't deny the look of pain when Jesse threw the eggs. He has so many regrets, many about her, and in the end, he came through. And look at when Rachel won the Tony. She looked so happy to be with him, and with him, she could reach her goals.

Will and Holly
-
Finn and Quinn
These two had a perfect relationship until Rachel chose to pursue Finn.
-
Kitty and Marley
Even though it wasn't a thing, they would've been one of the cutest couples in Glee.
-
Ryder and Kitty
I think they're cute together. They're like the Season 4 version of the Season 2 Quinn and Sam.

Jacob and Rachel

Rachel and Puck
Rachel and Puck are just adorbs! They should have ended up together, but I'm happy she ends up with Jesse because they have a baby for Kurt and Blaine! Yay!
I am the only human being today who will confess my love and ship for Puck and Rachel because they are my love and blood.
