Top 10 Best Super Bowl Commercials of 2026
Super Bowl LX is officially over. Let's just say it was one of the Super Bowls of our time. It was completely underwhelming in every aspect of the spectacle. This will easily become one of the most forgettable Super Bowls.
It reminds me a lot of Super Bowl LIII. The commercials were just mediocre and forgettable as well. Like most recent years, they have fallen off hard with only a few decent ones sprinkled in here and there.

Budweiser “American Icons”
This was, in my opinion, the best commercial of the bunch. This commercial focuses on a young Clydesdale helping a young baby bald eagle grow. It's a patriotic nod to America celebrating 250 years this year and Budweiser itself celebrating its 150-year anniversary, and of course "Free Bird" playing just brings the whole thing together. This is the perfect way to show patriotism in a simple manner.

Pepsi “The Choice”
In a world of AI ads and polar bears, be a Pepsi.
I think we as a society have missed this whole "company rivalry" thing for a while This is a perfect way to bring it back in a sense In it we see a polar bear long affiliated with Coca-Cola shocked to discover he picked rival Pepsi over Coke in a blind taste test and has to come to terms with that They also poked fun at the Coldplay Astronomer CEO scandal that was a clever touch

Dunkin “Good Will Dunkin”
Dunkin's latest Super Bowl ad attempt leans heavily into nostalgia, parodying Good Will Hunting and '90s sitcoms like Friends and Seinfeld. This one relied a lot on celebrity appearances such as Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Brady, Matt LeBlanc, Jason Alexander, and Ted Danson. Overall, one of the more creative and memorable ads of the Super Bowl.

Lay's “Last Harvest”
This has to be one of the more emotional commercials of the Super Bowl. In it, we see a farmer handing the farm over to his daughter. This ad celebrates the lasting legacy and impact of farmers everywhere and continuing the farming traditions for generations ahead. It's one that'll tug at your heartstrings in the best way. A perfect way to express the company's dedication to farmers and how they source their potatoes from real farmers.

Xfinity “Jurassic Park… Works”
Xfinity used the nostalgia of Jurassic Park and the original trio reuniting, and that kind of carried it. The idea is powering Jurassic Park with Xfinity's internet service so people could take selfies with the dinosaurs. For what it was, it was decent enough. The whole "de-aging" thing made it look "off" in a way. Still though, this was one of the highlights as far as commercials go.

Michelob ULTRA “The ULTRA Instructor”
This ad was great, perfectly tying into the Winter Olympics. In this ad, we see "Greg" get last place, and he owes everyone else a round of Ultras until Kurt Russell (who played Herb Brooks in the movie Miracle) shows up to train him in a Rocky-style montage. Eventually, Greg wins the competition. This ad also features US Olympic athletes TJ Oshie and Chloe Kim. Overall, a unique way to bridge and connect the Super Bowl to the Olympics. One of the best ads of the Super Bowl.

Rocket & Redfin “America Needs Neighbors Like You”
This is a heartfelt message promoting being kind and neighborly to others in an era where social trust is declining rapidly. In this ad, we see two families initially being distant, eventually forming a neighborly connection when one family finds the other's dog. It's a heartfelt, emotional message encouraging us all to be kind to our neighbors. It aligns with research that says only 25% of Americans know their neighbors by name. Overall, a decent ad.

State Farm “Stop Livin’ On a Prayer”
This ad features Hailee Steinfeld shopping for insurance, and the agents at a fictional State Farm competitor start singing a cringy parody of "Livin' on a Prayer" but talking about what all they don't cover and how inconvenient they are. Meanwhile, State Farm offers all those things. At least it's a break from the repetitive "Jake from State Farm" ads. Definitely not my favorite one, but for what it was, at least it kept my attention for longer than a few seconds. It's fine, not anything special though.
If we're being honest, this one is the only one besides the commercial with the singing toilets that I actually remember. It was somewhere along the lines of "cheesy but memorable," and honestly, that's better than what Bon Jovi can say about his newer music.

Instacart “Bananas”
Instacart highlights its new feature that lets you choose how ripe you want your fruits, such as bananas. Benson Boone and Ben Stiller were featured singing in one of those grainy retro music videos. See, this is how you do a Super Bowl advertisement. Catchy vibe, funny without feeling over the top, and promotes the feature in a creative manner. Definitely one of the more entertaining Super Bowl commercials this year.

Hellmann’s “Sweet Sandwich Time”
This one was okay. Andy Samberg portrays "Meal Diamond" and sings a parody of "Sweet Caroline" expressing his love for mayo and how it makes sandwiches taste "so good, so good, so good!" Honestly, a harmless parody and not the worst commercial ever. It gets the message across effectively without going too crazy. There have been some hits and misses, but I'd say this was one of Hellmann's better Super Bowl commercials.

Coinbase's "Everybody"
Basically, we all thought it was Backstreet's Back karaoke and sang along until they ruined it with the Coinbase logo. Oh well. This was still fun, though (aaand now I have a new lyric substitution: "Am I so secure?").
