Typically depicted with serpentine or reptilian traits, dragons are often associated with strength, wisdom, and magical powers. In Eastern cultures, they are usually seen as benevolent, while in... read more

If I were a Dragon Master, I would train my dragons to use their primordial and apocalyptic powers, known as the Dragon Force.

Picture it: the Dragon Force is an all-powerful entity of God, capable of creating anything with primordial power or causing destruction with apocalyptic power. I would be the chosen one to lead my dragons, harnessing the Dragon Force to dominate everything with God's primordial and apocalyptic power.

  2. Phoenix

A mythical bird from Greek mythology, the Phoenix is said to burst into flames upon death and then be reborn from its ashes. It is often associated with themes of rebirth, immortality, and renewal. Traditionally, the Phoenix is depicted as a large, colorful bird with a melodious song, and it has appeared... read more

I love phoenixes! They are gorgeous and powerful! I wish they existed and I had one!

They are so cool because when they die, they just get reborn from the ashes! What's the plural form though? Phoenixes? Phoenices? Phoenixi?

A more elegant and peaceful version of the dragon. Plus, it can be reborn.

  3. Mermaid

A mermaid is a legendary aquatic creature with the head and upper body of a female human and the tail of a fish. Stories of mermaids appear in the folklore of many cultures around the world, including Europe, Asia, and Africa. They're often depicted as beautiful and mysterious, sometimes benevolent and... read more

Mermaids are really pretty, and I love the siren story. Sirens sang beautiful songs that lured sailors to their deaths.

Mermaids are the water version of fairies, and they are beautiful.

Mermaids are cool, especially with their unique tails.

  4. Pegasus

Pegasus is one of the best known creatures in Greek mythology. Described as a winged horse, he was born from the blood of Medusa when she was slain by Perseus. Pegasus is often associated with inspiration, poetry, and the Muses.

Pegasus is the best for me. I have a lot of information about him, but it will take a lot of time to write it all down.

One important thing to know is that they have crazy superpowers and can beat a Chinese dragon or draw the battle. For me, both are equally powerful and number one.

A flying horse that is stronger and can kick storm clouds as they pass by!

A horse with wings. Imagine if I could ride on Pegasus.

  5. Cerberus

Cerberus is so underrated! They guard the spirits that are in or enter the spirit world. How cool is that?

I also heard they are nice and calm unless you disturb the spirits. Then, they will shred you in half.

A giant dog with three heads that guards the underworld. That's just awesome!

Symbolic of security, Cerberus is one of the creepiest.

  6. Unicorn

This is my opinion on unicorns from a book I read. I'm sharing it because the unicorns in the book are basically the rock stars of the fairy realm, which I don't deny.

For example, a unicorn has three horns throughout its life, shedding them like a deer does with its antlers or like baby teeth. When a unicorn sheds its horns, it can still keep and use them, and they all have magical abilities.

The first horn can cure all diseases. The second can be turned into a sword and used as a weapon. It can also rid one of magical beings possessing you. I can't remember much about the third, but I do know it allows unicorns to change from human form to unicorn form.

I hope I didn't bore you with this information. If you found it interesting and might want to read the book, it's called Fablehaven by Brandon Mull. It's a series, so if you read the books, I hope you enjoy them. Thanks for reading my opinion on unicorns.

  7. Griffin

I've never seen it spelled that way. It's either "Gryphon" or "Griffin." Either one of those is correct.

I love gryphons! They are so beautiful. I am writing a book about gryphons as well.

I love gryphons! They are so beautiful. I'm also writing a book about them as well.

  8. Elf

I like elves. They are cute. Ben Drowned from Creepypasta looks like an elf but is actually a ghost.

They are undoubtedly the best characters in Lord of the Rings. Galadriel is awesome!

  9. Kraken

The Kraken is a legendary sea monster of giant size that is said to dwell off the coasts of Norway and Greenland. Descriptions of the creature date back to Scandinavian folklore, where it was often depicted as a massive octopus or squid. The Kraken has appeared in various works of literature and popular... read more

I love this octopus monster. It has always been my top choice. Why not make this ferocious sea monster number one instead of that fire-breathing lizard?

Wait, is a kraken a giant squid that can kill with one hit?

Krakens are like octopuses, and I like octopuses!

  10. Werewolf

A werewolf, or lycanthrope, is a mythological or folkloric human with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf or a therianthropic hybrid wolf-like creature. This transformation can happen either purposely or after being placed under a curse or affliction. Stories of werewolves have existed since ancient... read more

    Drake

Oh, I thought you meant the actual singer, and I was like, How is he a mythical creature and how is he on a top ten list?

Another snake-like creature, with heads at both ends of its body.

  14. The Contenders
  15. Loch Ness Monster

The Loch Ness Monster, also known as Nessie, is an aquatic creature that is said to inhabit Loch Ness, a lake in Scotland. Nessie is one of the most famous cryptids in history. My favorite mythical creature! Kitsune are really cute and have such personality. They're from Japanese mythology, and I really want a pet one!

The only way to kill a kitsune is to chop off all its tails, even though that's really mean. When they reach 100 years old, they can transform into beautiful young women or older men. There are stories about kitsunes falling in love with humans but having to flee when their true nature is discovered.

I love how some of them are mischievous and enjoy pranks, while others are good-natured and calm. I adore dragons and phoenixes, but kitsunes hold the top spot for me. They should be ranked at least third! They are powerful, cute, and awesome!

    -Ravensong

  17. Basilisk

If you like snakes, the basilisk is the largest snake. It is apart from the Harry Potter world, along with Nagini, who was Lord Voldemort's pet snake.

I love snakes, and it's even better if they are huge!

It's a snake, and it's big. Come on, that's cool.

  18. Centaur

A centaur, or occasionally hippocentaur, is a mythological creature with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a horse. In Greek mythology, centaurs were often portrayed as wild and unruly beings. Some, like Chiron, were exceptions and known for wisdom and healing.

I describe it as a symbol of bravery.

  19. Troll

Trolls come in all shapes and sizes: strong and weak, powerful and powerless. I refer to the trolls of Nordic folklore. Definitely the most interesting of mythical creatures.

Are trolls good or evil? Are they even human?

  20. Fairy

The earth and air version of mermaids, fairies, have their home in the trees. It's cool, and they are majestic creatures.

They might be real, but I have never seen one. I like them, though.

The fairy is a very delightful mythical creature, I have to say.

  21. Dwarf

In folklore, a dwarf was a small being that looked much like a human but had magical powers.

  22. Minotaur

  23. Medusa

A girl with snake hair. If you look at her, you will turn into stone.

They are deadly but still beautiful. I like them.

  24. Alicorn

Who voted for unicorn and pegasus but not this? They are a combination of the two, with both wings and a horn.

I love Alicorns. Most people do not understand, but Alicorns have both wings and a horn. Unicorns only have a horn. Pegasi only have wings.

They are the best unicorn sub-species!

  25. Hydra

Way too underrated on this list. Hydra is a big snake creature with seven heads. For every head you cut off, it grows two more. Killing this thing would be near impossible without skill and strategy. It should be higher on the list.

It's not impossible to kill a hydra. It's hard, yes, nearly impossible, but it's possible.

You have to cut off all the heads before they grow back. If you wait too long, the heads will double, so you have to sear the heads. Burn them.

One of the most terrifying and dangerous mythical creatures out there. But since its father, Typhon, has over 50 heads, he would be the only one to beat Hydra without too much trouble.

  26. Giant Spider

I once dreamt that I found one and named it Monster.

  27. Cyclops

A cyclops is like a giant with one eye.

  28. Vampire

I became interested in vampires one year ago. I began to watch Adventure Time, and Marceline Abadeer, the Vampire Queen, is a special little creature. So she is the reason for my new interest.

  29. Giant
