Best TV Miniseries of All Time

The Top Ten

1 Band of Brothers

This was the first miniseries I've ever seen from Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks together and I almost wanted to shrug it off but I took a chance and bought the DVD set and wouldn't you know it I cried like a baby. I felt with them. I loved with them. I cried with them. As a soldier in the US Army my respect grew even more for these guys and the sacrifices they made not only for their country but for the guy in the foxhole next to theirs. I encourage everyone to watch this and also the Pacific which is another miniseries Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks did. - lolabannana89

2 Lonesome Dove

The most captivating series ever. I have locked myself in, unplugged or turned off my phone and watched it start to finish many times. Read the book in a similar fashion.

This timeless classic should be Number 1. What a wonderful story and an amazing cast. I have to watch it at least once a year, meaning I've seen the movie about 30 times.

Great series. The acting was incredible. I loved every minute of it.

All the others can suck it!

3 Roots

Greatest movies ever. It educated a nation of its untold history.

This was the first big miniseries I remember. I was "blown away" every night. I bought the series and keep watching. It is one of the most moving T.V. experiences I have ever had.

Evolution never ends, respect must evolve.
