The Problem With Mario VS Sonic

HeavyDonkeyKong I enjoyed this battle, and wanted it to happen, but Mario should have won.
It's probably impossible to say all of this stuff without sounding like a complete Mario fanboy, but I shall try!
First of all, first and foremost, I agree that Sonic would have won, as well as should have won, had there been an absence of items! Mario doesn't even stand a chance on those grounds! However, with items in use, Mario should have won EFFORTLESSLY IN MY OPINION!
Death Battle left out A LOT OF IMPORTANT STUFF IN MY OPINION! First of all, the Chaos Emeralds could easily be countered by the Crystal Stars, and giving Sonic them and not giving Mario theme seems a little too unfair!
Next up, the fire shield. F.L.U.D.D could have doused that with ease.
Sonic is fast, much faster than Mario, who is also a faster runner, but had Mario used Quake Hammer, he would have produced an immense quake, knocking Sonic over and eliminating Sonic's Speed advantage, the thing that the famous blue blur hedgehog needs to defeat Mario.
To reduce bias, I will also state that Death Battle left out some important SonicThe Hedgehog stuff asw ell! Sonic has a Werehog Form, a Hyper Form, and an Excalibur Form! However, Mario could deal with those with ease, by using the Metal Mushroom, which had already made quick work of Super Sonic's Advantage. Mario could even combine the Metal Mushroom with F.L.U.D.D's turbo nozzle, combining speed with brute strength and invincibility and brute strength. Lastly, Mario's Ultra Hammer could easily beat down Caliburn, who was also left out of the fight/death battle.
I loved this fight, and thought that it was explained very well, but by leaving out so many, as well as so much, important stuff, it seems as though Screwattack reduced the fight's credibility. In my opinion: Mario Is The Winner!

Could'nt Sonic jump over the Quake Hammer? - visitor (8/5/2015)

I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't see it coming. If you've seen Sonic X, he usually just gets surprised by an attack and gets himself at a disadvantage. His cockiness would be his downfall in my opinion! Mario never gets cocky. He just does what he thinks that he has to do to get the job done! - HeavyDonkeyKong (8/11/2015)
