Rating Every Year I've Lived

PackFan2005 I've got nothing to do, with school not resuming till August. I for one found time to rate every year I've lived. Sounds like a waste of time, and it kind of is. But hey, I've got time to kill, so here we go...

2002
My year of birth, and fortunately, I was born in the midst of Spring. Other than that, I obviously don't remember anything about it, but I'll make an exception.
Rating: 8/10

2003
It was the year I first remembered something. Sitting in a crib with Winnie the Pooh sheets. Other than that, I remember nothing of 2003.
Rating: 6/10

2004
I honestly believe I remembered a few things about 2004, but I've got nothing. 2004 is a question mark for me.
Rating: ???

2005
I was simply a carefree toddler who just played with toys and watched cartoons all day. Livin' the good life.
Rating: 8/10

2006
Again, all I did was nothing, no worries in the world. I spent most of my days outside either at my neighbor's house or in my backyard. Also, preschool. Fortunately, all we did was nap and snack all day. Good times, good times.
Rating: 8/10

2007
Suddenly, I wasn't the youngest child. My younger sister was born days after the new year, and the year was okay overall, but I had to get used to having another sibling.
Rating: 6/10

2008
Gee wiz, I was hurt a lot in 2008. Broke my arm, busted up my knee, burnt my finger on a fireplace, it was really brutal in 2008. So really not my best year overall.
Rating: 4/10

2009
Not as bad as the previous year, but we moved from Michigan, and I was bummed out about it. However, I would later applaud our choice to move to Minnesota.
Rating: 5/10

2010
I met some of my closest friends, and I became well-known around the neighborhood. We lived in a large neighborhood, but we were all close.
Rating: 6/10

2011
I really liked 2011, but my favorite part was New Years. There was a snowstorm rolling through, and we went over to one of our neighbor's houses, and we had this wild New Years Eve party in their basement. I played foosball the majority of the night, and I never lost a match. By the time we decided to walk home, about nine inches of snow had already fallen. When I did get home, I went to bed around one in the morning, and before I slept, I wondered what the future would hold as I gazed out the window at the fluttering white snowflakes. Wow, that was deep. Did not expect to go that far inside me.
Rating: 7/10

2012
I can refer to these as my carefree days. Every day after school, my friend and I would gather snacks and head over to my garage and played our Nintendo DS's. Usually it was Mario or something like that.
Rating: 9/10

2013
Well, here's where the ratings twist. Needless to say, I thought 2013 was garbage. I moved from Minnesota, our new house didn't have enough space for our dogs, so we had to come to the difficult conclusion that we had to rehome our standard poodle. School sucked at this point, being a new kid again. Not to mention world events took a turn for the worse in 2013. Remember the Boston Bombings? Terrorism was at a practical high. In conclusion, I personally didn't like 2013.
Rating: 2/10

2014
Nothing too big happened in 2014. Things were normal, and I don't have much to say about it.
Rating: 6/10

2015
Well our Dachshund died in 2015. What's more depressing was it was the literal day after my 13th birthday. But on a brighter note, we adopted two labradoodle puppies to fill in the void of our Dachshunds absence. Also, the Miracle in Motown. Sorry Lions fans.
Rating: 6/10

2016
This year sucked for a lot of people, but for me, it was okay. It wasn't the worst, but not the best. I was fine with 2016. In my opinion, the movies here were not as bad as 2017 movies.
Rating: 6/10

2017
Couldn't have asked for a better year. The Packers playoff run, and a lot more happened here. Enough said.
Rating: 10/10

2018
Here's our present year. So far, things have gotten out of hand around the world. Issues with school shootings are persisting, Trump has really taken a turn. I liked him better in 2017. Still, good things have happened. Like me joining TheTopTens in April.
Rating (as of June 2018): 6/10

08' 3/10 (Transition into middle school plus the Lions going 0-16 yikes)
09' 7/10 (We have our long term quarterback at first I did route for)
10' 6/10
11' 9.5/10 (Lions made the playoffs finally, my freshman year in High School was awesome, and WWE actually tried to be more edgy again thanks to CM Punk)
12' 5.5/10 (Made an account didn't do much at first, but at the same time this would start the sad trend of school shooting with the sandy hook tragedy, and also the joker shooter that summer.)
13' 6/10 (Took hiatus to focus on school, and the Boston Bombings happened plus the really badly butchered Xbox One announcement at E3)
14' 8/10 (A somewhat more tolerable year to cope, but man was it brutally cold one I'll never forget. For me its far from the worst years people overreacted to it being terrible, and I came back late in the site by the time I was in my climax with High School. At the same time I do remember that awful Christmas day experience where Lizard Squad hacked online gaming that was really sad that though doesn't stop that I still think 2014 was alright overall.)
15' 5/10 (Mixed reaction I graduated that's great, but than again I had a lot of embarrassing moments I had witnessed as well failing at life, and seeing both my Wolverines, and Lions choke on the biggest games of their respective season unbelievable.)
16' 2/10 (2016 was one of the darkest years I could ever remember from many celebrity deaths, to me finally getting to start college things were getting very tight for me, but it was also the year that I arguably worked my hardest as a user promising to really tightened up my content in which I did, and one post in particular put me on the map. The worst of all is the politics part, and why I hate the fact the two people I would least wanna see in the end made it. I just couldn't vote for either of these sketchy politicians. This coulda been my first year voting, but instead I passed assuming whoever we pick is gonna be terrible I'm hoping by 2020 we don't have crooked, or idiotic candidates running against one another.)
17' 6/10 Still in college trying to get by with what I can, but this would be a sign of bad things to come as school shootings would take off in the worst way imaginable in Las Vegas I mean my god was that terrible to see 500 hurt, or dead one or the other.)
18' 6/10 (As of June) Ugh... I'm basically finished with college having a lot of thinking on my mind, but also keeping my head up high for the future. School shootings are still a rapid problem, and I... can't respect what the president is doing making those suffer under the rule he has created with the border crisis, and could potentially destroy what we all love most the internet thanks to the head of FCC who yes was once a Verizon guy as well doesn't that sound like a reason to be concerned yet? ) - visitor

2002: I was born so I remember nothing 6/10
2003: 6/10 (KU lost National title game to Syracuse)
2004: 6.5/10
2005: this is where I was old enough to actually start exploring the world with just my parents and grandparents. No siblings to deal with. 7/10
2006: same as ‘05
2007: suddenly my sister comes along and I remember being pretty excited 7/10
2008: I would start Kindergarten in August. I got my dog this year (still have him) and I remember KU won March Madness thanks to Mario’s Miracle 9/10
2009: 7/10
2010: my brother came along and we moved across town which I was bummed about but I love it now 6/10
2011: only bad thing was KU losing to damn VCU (yes it still stings to this day)
2012: first got into sports 7/10 (KU was national runner up against Kentucky.)

2013: 5/10 Only thing I remember was Wichita st made the final Four

2014: transition to middle school. Had my favorite teacher of all time. And the Royals made it back to the playoffs for the first time in 29 years and got to Game 7 of the World Series.only problem was terrorists were on the rise. 8/10
2015: I had a good second semester of school but then in August I started what would be my worst year of school (7th grade) but the Royals won the World Series and the Chiefs had a huge comeback from 1-5 to 11-5 So I was pretty mixed. 5/10

2016: still in my bad year of school and literally the week right after school got out my one and only best friend moved away which really hit me. Also KU lost a heartbreaker to Villanova to end my favorite player Perry Ellis’ career and the Royals missed the playoffs. Also how about the election? Only positive was next year (8th grade) started better and the Chiefs actually won a playoff game.
3/10

2017: School was better and I transitioned to high school. Also in June I joined TheTopTens.Only downside to this year was KU lost a heartbreaking game to Oregon in the elite 8 inKansas City to end another one of my favorites Frank Mason’s career. 6/10

2018: (as of August) The world has been a total mess. School shootings... personally though it’s not been that bad. KU broke UCLA’s record and got back to the final Four. School was okay. My summer has been Okay so it’s been pretty mediocre so far
