ProPanda Analysis #1: Maroon 5

ProPanda For my first ever analysis, I have chosen my favorite band: Maroon 5. They are a band who have expiremented with many genres.
Well here we go!

Lyrics:
Their lyrics could be better. I mean "feelin so high we f the sky"- feelings
"hunt you down eat you alive" - animals
And other non V lyrics.

The instrumentation on all of their songs is amazing! They really know how to produce. They work with the right people to get the right beats done.

Honestly they're more of a guilty pleasure for me than anything. Adam is a decent singer, they have some songwriting chops, and pre-Overexposed they had some pretty killer instrumentation, but after Overexposed...they almost entirely rely on their catchiness now. Their instrumentations have started to get pretty bland and unmemorable, mainly thanks to their closing-in production on songs like PayPhone and to an extent Sugar.
