Coming Up With A Post Series Of My Own: Analysis of Various Aspects of Fictional Characters & Media

Rue Hello guys! This is Rue and I'm announcing something I want to do with my account. Since a lot of people have their own post series, I'm inspired to do the same to properly express my overall thoughts and opinions outside of comments.

As said in the title, the series is called: "Analysis of Various Aspects of Fictional Characters & Media". The reason is because it's not always going to be the same. It can be fictional characters, cartoons, anime, or games. The discussion of these things will not be the same. I could be analyzing why a character is hated to how a show is going downhill. This is done for some variety.

NOTE: These may sound controversial with specific fandoms. Please don't take it the wrong way. Again, these are my own thoughts and opinions, you don't have to agree with me if you don't want to.

Here's some examples of what I will be doing for this post series in the future:

Fictional Characters:

"Character Analysis: Is Ash Ketchum from Pokemon a Bad Character or are the Writers the Ones Intentionally Screwing Him Over?" - This one has been on my mind for a while since a lot of people bash Ash specifically. However, I feel there is more to people hating him and that the hatred for Ash being directed at his character may be somewhat unwarranted since the writers can make him better but downright refuse.

"Character Analysis: In Depth Reasoning why Serena from Pokemon is a Bad Character" - I've mentioned this stuff in comments and remixes in the past. Though I think I should make an analysis and put all my thoughts together on her. Because there is a lot that I can't randomly keep ranting on through comments.

"Character Analysis: Why is Pearl From Steven Universe Hated So Much?" - I'm conflicted with Pearl to be honest with you. I've looked back at what she's done and I want to form reasons where the hatred for her comes from.

"Character Analysis: What the Hell Happened to Lapis' Character in Steven Universe?" - I feel that they really messed up Lapis after Barn Mates. I'll go into reasons why.

"Character Analysis: Bismuth's Missed Potential in Steven Universe" - Thinking of all the things Steven Universe could've done with Bismuth if they didn't shaft her in the worst way possible.

Cartoons:

"Cartoon Analysis: What the Hell Happened To Steven Universe?" - I'll be honest, no offense to people who like Season 3-4 of Steven Universe, but I feel like it's utter complete crap and is causing the show to go downhill. (Season 4 is doing it the most) I'll obviously go into why. But again, I'm sorry if I offended anyone, I know people really love this show.

Anime:

"Anime Analysis: What the Hell Was Homura's Intent at the End of the PMMM: Rebellion Movie?" - The end of Rebellion was paramount and it's not confirmed of what Homura's motive was for doing the thing she did. I'm going to take my own spin on it to see if I can make sense of it in various perspectives.

Games:

"Game Analysis: Is Undertale a Masterpiece or is it Beyond Overhyped?" - It's been nearly 2 years since Undertale came out and it still has a huge following. People are starting to wonder if it's as good as everyone makes it and I'm one of them.

"Game Analysis: What Potential Does a Pokemon Sun and Moon Sequel Have and What Can it Offer?" - I've been thinking about this a lot after I beat Pokemon Moon. There's several instances where a sequel is possible and can expand the lore of Ultra Beasts, Alola, etc.

"Game Analysis: Main Story Pokemon Games on the Switch? Can it Really Work?" - Since the Pokemon Stars rumor is hot right now and I want to arrange some thoughts on Main story pokemon games being on the Nintendo Switch.

"Game Analysis: Who Is Ryuki from Pokemon Sun and Moon and Where Did He Come From?" - this is going to be a short theory analysis since we don't know much about him. I want to talk about him because he interests me.

Anyways, that's all I thought of so far. Let me know your thoughts on this upcoming series of posts I'm going to make.

POST SERIES UPDATE 3/4/2017:

Since it may take a while for me to get the Nintendo Switch (They keep selling out) and will be zoned into BoTW for so many hours, I'll have to delay "Game Analysis: Main Story Pokemon Games on the Switch? Can it Really Work? ".

Also I feel I should have enough experience with all the features of the Switch so my thoughts are as accurate as possible, which may take longer than I thought since there isn't many games to push how much the Nintendo Switch can do. - Rue (3/4/2017)

POST SERIES UPDATE 3/8/2017:

The name of the character analysis for Serena will be called: "Character Analysis: What Exactly Went Wrong with Serena's Character in the Pokemon Anime? "

The reason for renaming the upcoming post is because I've been thinking about how I will be writing it. Often when I talk about Serena it's mostly opinions and my personal distaste with her. That's not going to be how I will be writing her analysis. It's going to be an analysis of what went wrong with her character, writing, and potential while trying to remove as much personal bias as much as possible. I will be only analyzing her character and what she has done. Nothing about the fanbase or my personal opinions. Everything I will be discussing about Serena can be proven and I'm able to explain how in my own words. I may not have everything because I may not be able to word specific stuff without seeming biased.

TL;DR: The upcoming post about Serena is not a rant/opinions on the character, it's a full fledged analysis of what went wrong with Serena and what she could've been if certain aspects of her character did not happen.

I'm stating this because I know a lot of you expect me to bash Serena. That isn't what the post will be about. I basically want my to write in a less biased way and with more accuracy. Both to improve my overall perspective on things and as a way to practice my writing. - Rue (3/8/2017)

UPDATE 3/21/2017: I don't know if I'll still be doing an analysis on Serena. I'm sick of talking about her at this point if you want me to be honest. I'm most likely going to stop with the stuff I say about Serena and Amourshipping and move on. I'm also tired of being known as a Serena/Amourshipping hater over my other qualities as a Toptenner. - Rue (3/21/2017)
