yaygiants16 reviews Runaway by Kanye West feat. Pusha T

yaygiants16 College Dropout? 8/10. Late Registration? 7/10. Graduation? Same as Late Registration, 7/10, though slightly better. 808's And Heartbreak? Bit of a disappointment, either a high 6 or a low 7. MBDTF? A solid 9, if not 10. Not only is it his best album, the album itself has his best song: Runaway. Runaway, featuring Pusha T, starts with simple piano taps that sets the mood. From that point, an echoed piano, percussion, and great vocals invade this masterpiece. After approximately 6 minutes of meaningful lyrics about Kanye opening up as a person and describing his douchebaggery (in a sweet way), the song shifts to an alternate instrumental with the same piano melody, but with added violins and intentionally muffled vocals repeating the hook. Runaway is so perfectly complicated you're going to have to take a listen yourself (Warning: Eargasm alert). Hands down, Kanye's most amazing, honest, beautiful, and heartfelt song he has ever recorded. My pick for best rap song of all time, and that's saying something.
