The Top Ten
1 Delta Goodrem Delta Lea Goodrem is an Australian singer-songwriter and actress. Born and raised in Sydney, New South Wales, she enrolled in dancing, acting, singing and piano classes at a young age.

I love her! She is so amazing and beautiful. However, she is quite underrated.

2 Kylie Minogue Kylie Ann Minogue is an Australian-British singer and actress. She achieved recognition starring in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, where she played the tomboy mechanic Charlene Robinson. She also appeared in films such as Street Fighter, Moulin Rouge!, and San Andreas.

Sales: 80 million-plus. She is the most successful Australian-born artist of all time and the most successful Australian woman artist ever.

Kylie is awesome. Golden, released in 2018, is a pure, self-written, underrated masterpiece.

Kylie, with over 30 years in the industry, still looks fantastic and is still evolving musically.

3 Sia Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, referred to mononymously as Sia, is an Australian singer and songwriter. She released her debut album in 1997 but mainly gained mainstrem attention in the 2010s. In 2021, she released the highly controversial film "Music". The film has received negative reviews online.

Sia NEEDS to be number one. She has evolved so much over the years and is extremely underrated. She can perform many different styles of music, but her own is unique and amazing, sending chills down people's spines.

Hey, who is rating this? Sucks! Sia is in her own league.

Best singer-songwriter of all time, hands down!

4 Kate Miller-Heidke

Amazing voice and fun, quirky songs make her a unique and amazing artist.

What can I say? Classically trained pop music does work well. Great songwriting.

Awesome performer. Makes Kylie and others seem like a sad joke.

5 Jessica Mauboy
6 Anja Nissen
7 Dannii Minogue Danielle Jane "Dannii" Minogue is an Australian singer-songwriter, talent competition judge, actress, television and radio personality, and fashion designer.

Girl and Neon Nights are two of the best pop releases by any female artist, let alone an Australian. Neon Nights, especially, is now pretty iconic.

She has a great voice and can sing in some very difficult keys. Her voice is also powerful enough to fill a hall without amplification.

To top it all, she is gorgeous.

As beautiful in personality and spirit as she is in voice and physical features.

9 Ella Hooper
10 Samantha Jade
The Contenders
11 Natalie Imbruglia

Left of the Middle is a classic album. One of the best albums ever.

I love her! She is the best Australian singer out there!

12 Tina Arena

Classiest and most angelic voice you could ever hear. Ever!

The best among all Australian female vocalists.

Long career and still beautiful.

13 Judith Durham

Nobody on this list comes close to Judith. No singer anywhere comes close to Judith. To not be in agreement is to admit you've never heard her sing.

She's in a class of her own and is a national treasure.

She will not get many votes because of her age and style of music, but her voice was more melodious than nearly everyone above her.

Incomparable. Wonderful. Fantastic. Inexorably superior in every way.

14 Montaigne
15 Iggy Azalea Amethyst Amelia Kelly, born June 7, 1990 known professionally as Iggy Azalea, is an Australian rapper, singer, songwriter, and model.
16 Missy Higgins

Missy Higgins entered the music industry at the right time. Musically, the industry was suffocating with rap, R&B, and pop. Missy's well-crafted adult contemporary pop singer-songwriter sound was a blessing.

17 Dami Im

Best singer in Australia, period! She has seven Platinum and Gold records and was runner-up at Eurovision (robbed!). Her voice is unmatched and should be world-famous if Sony would spend some money promoting her!

She's beautiful and also models, featuring in numerous beauty campaign ads. She should be in the Top 3 at least, but to be listed behind the likes of Samantha Jade, who hasn't done squat. Jessica Mauboy, who embarrassed herself and Australia at Eurovision. Anja Nissen, who had to move to Denmark to get a shot at Eurovision. And many of these non-accomplished singers is a joke.

18 Vanessa Amorosi
19 Joan Sutherland Joan Sutherland (November 7, 1926 - October 10, 2010) was an Australian operatic dramatic coloratura soprano, known for her contribution to the renaissance of the bel canto repertoire from the late 1950s to the 1980s. She was the first Australian to win a Grammy Award in 1962.
20 Mataya
21 Christina Amphlett
22 Helen Reddy Helen Maxine Lamond Reddy was an Australian singer, actress, and activist. In the 1970s, she enjoyed international success, especially in the United States, where she placed 15 singles in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. Six made the Top 10.

If it wasn't for Helen Reddy, there would be no Australian pop music outside of Australia! This lady is the first!

She opened the doors for all Aussie females. She became iconic in the United States with 11 Top 20 Billboard Pop hits!

The Aussie that started it all, and she's not at the top?

23 Suzi DeMarchi

The Baby Animals is one awesome rock band. Suzie is one awesome rock chick.
