Best Benjamin Burnley Vocal Performances

The lead singer of Breaking Benjamin has some impressive pipes, not gonna lie.

The Top Ten
  1. Had Enough - Breaking Benjamin

I consider this to be his most impressive vocal performance. You can hear the seething anger in his voice in this one, and it's one of the best songs from Phobia, period.

The meaning of the song is pretty self-explanatory, but it's solid enough for what it is, honestly.

  2. Bury Me Alive - Breaking Benjamin

  3. Simple Design - Breaking Benjamin

We Are Not Alone is probably my favorite album from them, and this song contains some of Burnley's most impressive vocal work.

I dig how everything crescendos and builds up with this heavy, intense atmosphere that works pretty well.

  4. Awaken - Breaking Benjamin

  5. Feed the Wolf - Breaking Benjamin

Ember is an impressive album, and one that's certainly above Dark Before Dawn in my opinion. Some good guttural screams, catchy guitar work, and a pretty memorable bridge, even if it's just spoken word.

  6. Home - Breaking Benjamin

While I do consider Saturate to be a mostly boring album, this is one of the highlights on it. It has this general, almost horror-like imagery while being a song that's about The Wizard of Oz, one of the oldest movies known to man. The main riff sells it too.

  7. Crawl - Breaking Benjamin

  8. Lights Out - Breaking Benjamin

Phobia and Dear Agony contain some of Burnley's best vocals and are heavy contenders for best albums in their discography.

For a plethora of reasons, namely the songwriting, chord progressions, and overall melodies that combine spectacularly, this is one of his best aggressive performances for sure.

  9. Topless - Breaking Benjamin

One of the heaviest songs from Phobia, period. From the main riff all the way to the chaotic screams that ensue toward the final half of the song, it's one of the best moments from Phobia and a highlight in their discography in general. I can recommend this one.

  10. Brand New Day (featuring Ben Burnley) - The Drama Club

One of his few guest features in a song, and this group in particular isn't that well known as far as I'm aware. His vocals can be heard during the chorus, which does give it a bit of oomph, if you will, and it's certainly impressive all around.
