The best singer EVER. Honestly, I understand why he faints on stage because I perform a lot of his songs, and one after another is incredibly difficult - especially Bat Out of Hell followed by Paradise by the Dashboard Light. He is truly one of the rock greats.
Best showman ever. In the words of Jim Steinman, he brings rock and opera together. I've seen him live a few times - the best concerts I've EVER been to!

Incredible voice, and undoubtedly the largest guy to ever grace an album cover. He sang the beautiful rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" featured on 50 First Dates. Sadly, Israel is now singing with a heavenly choir.
I listen to Over the Rainbow whenever I am upset, and it makes me smile every time.
