Her greatness cannot be questioned. The whole event is so sincere and heartbreaking that no objection to this can be established.
Unlike some other activists here (even Mother Teresa, whom I respect), there's always another side to their stories, no matter how small. But when it comes to Anne, there is only one truth.
Her story is so sad and inspiring on levels many people couldn't even come close to. She persevered through tough times by hiding from the Nazis.
Then she and her family were found and killed by the officers. Her diary was kept.
