Best Grimm Characters (TV Series)
I like everything about Monroe. He's a good friend and lover. He's funny, kind, thoughtful, and always ready to help his unlikely Grimm friend, Nick. He has put his life on the line more than once for Nick and Hank. His relationship with Rosalie is endearing. I enjoy watching them interact.
His somewhat unkempt appearance, frumpy sweaters, and scruffy beard are perfect for his character. Personally, I never use the word "dude" when addressing someone directly, but it works well for his character. He reminds me a little of myself, as he's always working to keep the darker side of his Blutbad/Wesen nature suppressed.
Like many people, Adalind Schade has done things she's not proud of. However, she's a strong enough character to try to become better. Grimm is Adalind's redemption story.
She was evil for love and then good for love. Even when she was evil, it was understandable, and I'm all about redemption and second chances. Plus, no matter her role, she was always captivating to watch.
After everything she's done and been through, she's loyal to a Grimm and in love with him. She's a sweet and loving mom who stands strong when she has to.
After all, it's mostly about him, and he does a good job being the Grimm.
She is a powerhouse who doesn't hesitate to do the right thing. She survived even without knowing she is a Grimm.
She is a badass and one of the best characters on the show. She should be a regular.
Trubel is a true badass - tough but soft. The show became infinitely better with her addition.
She's sweet, knowledgeable, and just good to the core. She's the den momma, and they are all better because of her.
Sweet, but she can be a badass when necessary.
He has the best sense of humor! I would love to see him more frequently!
He used Adalind's love for him to manipulate her into doing bad things, including forcing her to go after Hank. He took no responsibility for his actions and pretended to be good until he finally showed his true colors.
The hatred toward Juliette from Grimm fans speaks volumes about the level of misogyny still present in this world.
Juliette was loyal to Nick even when he kept secrets from her. She stood by him when he was overwhelmed by powers that led him to love a Wesen woman. When Nick said he didn't think he wanted to be a Grimm anymore, she supported that decision. And when he changed his mind again, she was loyal enough to take dangerous potion vapors, becoming her worst enemy to help him be a Grimm again. She forgave him for sleeping with Adalind because she knew it wasn't his fault.
Juliette had Nick's back in multiple battles and learned how to fire a weapon so she wouldn't have to listen to him complain about having to protect her anymore. Yet, when she became a Hexenbiest, Nick couldn't even look her in the face. He walked out of the house when she needed him most, leaving Juliette to deal with her new situation alone.
When Nick called her several times after she left, his voicemail messages were hostile in tone. I certainly wouldn't call someone back who says "We need to talk" in a demanding and aggressive tone. A more appropriate message would have been, "I'm sorry for my reaction to you, Juliette. Please call me so we can talk."
As if his cold dismissal wasn't enough, all of Juliette's friends turned against her too. They wouldn't listen when she said she liked her new powers. Everyone just wanted the weak, helpless Juliette back, because... men only like women they can control?
To finally make Juliette snap for good, Nick chose to protect Adalind because she "carried his baby" (a baby conceived through deceit and witchcraft). So it's okay for Adalind to be a witch but not Juliette? Okay...
Adalind should have been killed.
After her boyfriend and every single one of her "friends" turned against her, it's no wonder Juliette snapped. I would too. There is nothing worse than a woman scorned, and Nick relentlessly scorned... more
He reminds me of a cute and timid puppy with a rascal side. Love his character.
I just love Bud. He can lighten up the darkest scenes.
Meisner was a good man. He was a combatant and a regular guy, much like Hank Griffin. Meisner saved Adalind from the Royals and delivered the baby to safety. He also saved Trubel from Black Claw alongside Nick Burkhardt.
Meisner haunted Sean Renard for choosing the wrong side and warned him about the two Black Claw members waiting for him, ultimately saving his life.
Meisner was always interesting to watch. He could fight like no other and always kept a cool, logical head.
Kelly is the very definition of badassery. She's the let's get down to business type. I like that.
Aunt Marie was always there for Nick. She was very mysterious in a cool way, very knowledgeable, and most of all, fearless.
