The Top Ten
  1. Leopold Fitz

I wasn't that much of a fan of his in the beginning, but somewhere around the start of season 2 I really began to like him. He was sweet, gorgeous, smart as hell and he tried to take care of everyone. He also doesn't judge people like Jemma, for instance, does all the time.

By far the strongest of the agents. He has no superpowers but constantly saves the others with his intellect, wit and compassion.

He is the most relatable character (to me), and that's why I love him!

  2. Phil Coulson

Phil Coulson is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is portrayed by actor Clark Gregg in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with the film Iron Man in 2008. Coulson also stars in the television series Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., where he serves... read more

Constantly died and came back. Invulnerable.

How could you not think he's awesome?

  3. Daisy Johnson

Her evolution in the series is fantastic, especially in the first three seasons. She starts as a hacker and outlaw and becomes a heroine. She is a very deep and brave character and I'm happy to see her in the 2nd position.

I loved her character in season 1, but started to dislike her more and more. I'm not saying I do not like her character at all nowadays, but she's certainly not my favourite anymore.

Skye? Daisy? Quake? What other names has she been called! Yet, she is definitely the best character on the show.

  4. Jemma Simmons

I liked her more in the earlier seasons, especially in S1 E5. She's so hilarious in that specific episode.

She is the most intelligent girl on the planet.

  5. Melinda May

She's a bad-ass cold chic who went from a traumatic experience yet became one of the most important things in the series. Maybe not as overhyped as Daisy, but she has a vital role.

  6. Grant Ward

The character is really well developed and is really bad but still makes you have hope for him. He's very dark and cold but makes an effective villain. RIP, he shouldn't have been killed.

Second favorite character in the MCU, this guy is the epitome of badass on the level of Shipmaster (Halo), Arbiter, General Grievous, Darth Maul, John Wick, and Batman.

  7. Bobbi Morse

Strong, independent, gorgeous, and such a great person. She is the definition of feminism and girl power.

I don't know what she does, but she's so hot she deserves to be number one.

  8. Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez

Used to hate her, but now I think she's a great character.

  9. Alphonso MacKenzie

  10. Lance Hunter

Join SHIELD. Travel to exotic, distant lands. Meet exciting, unusual people... and kill them. Funniest character.

I love his character. His description of his marriage was priceless: "Inter-species relationships don't work, I'm human and she's a demonic hell-beast." I wish he was in it more.

  16. Enoch

Him and Fitz had some of the best chemistry in any T.V. show I've ever seen. Such a good combo.

  17. Deke Shaw

The grandson of Fitz and Jemma - who couldn't love him?

  18. Lincoln Campbell / Sparkplug

  19. Nick Fury

Colonel Nicholas Joseph Fury Sr. is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, Fury first appeared in Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos #1 in May 1963. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a version of Nick Fury... read more

  20. Ruby Hale

  21. Raina

A great villain even at times when she wasn't a villain. I liked her inhuman form.

  22. Maria Hill

Commander Maria Hill is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. In film, she has been portrayed by Canadian actress Cobie Smulders. She first appeared in New Avengers #4 in 2005 and is often associated with S.H.I.E.L.D.

I don't know if she plays a bigger part later in the show, I haven't watched far enough, but in the Avengers movies, she is so underrated.

  24. Mike Peterson

  25. Aida
