Just Unique... End of
Is this a joke?
Björk Guðmundsdóttir, known mononymously as Björk, is an Icelandic singer and songwriter. She is most famous for her eclectic music styles and experimentation on electronic pop music.
Bjork is distinct in every way. Her voice is unique, her singing style is unusual, and her personal style is funky. She was at an after hours club my friends and I were at a long time ago, with her hair done exactly like Princess Leah did in Star Wars. Have yet to see anyone else try that
Not my favourite artist but surely the most unique I've ever heard.
How can you not have a top unique artists list without Bjork?

8 Melanie Martinez
Melanie Adele Martinez is an American singer and songwriter. Melanie Martinez auditioned for the American television vocal talent show The Voice and became a member of Team Adam.
Melanie is amazing. She inserts an entire creepy childhood façade to her songs, but if you look to it deeply it all has an extremely mature meaning behind : rape, pedophilia, plastic surgeries, people who think they're better than others, family issues, alcoholism, etc. She is extremely talented, she does not prostitute herself to the industry and over all has a marvelous voice. Melanie embraces her personality and expresses herself in a way no other artist does. And her looks and aesthetic in general are amazing <3.
About her concepts, she uses toy sounds in her songs and the childish façade is very appealing, and added to her pretty voice it turns into awesome songs. She is definitely the best pop has seen for a long time, and her uniqueness is just so charming

"New York, New York" by Nina Hagen is the strangest song I've ever heard. It's kind of hard to listen to it at first but it grows on you eventually although it hasn't lost that 'weird' quality for me yet.
The song that Mr Scruff sampled for 'Get a move on'.
Moondog was a blind musician who dressed like a Viking and performed his music on the streets of 1950s New York leading many to believe that he was also homeless. He garnered the nickname 'the Viking of 6th Avenue'. His music is a blend of Jazz and classical music yet also highly experimental with a strong emphasis on rhythm. Moondog has gained a strong cult following for his unique style and approach to music making (check out the instruments he invented also! ).
His extreme vocal range, originality and refusal to succumb to the demands of conformist record companies make him to be perhaps the most unique artist on the planet (in my opinion). He is also charming with his fans and can sing better live than in the studio. He is so good that the editing from the studio actually hinders his talent from shining through and hides his true stage personality and aura.
