Best Fairy Tales of All Time

The Top Ten
1 Beauty and the Beast

This should be number 6 on my list because it's a story about redemption and looking past someone's ugly features to focus on their inner beauty.

This was probably my favorite since I was a kid.

It is a truly beautiful story.

A really beautiful story.

This one should be higher than Cinderella!

2 Rapunzel

A classic fairy tale about a girl locked in a tower, with only her extremely long hair acting as a rope ladder.

Rapunzel is the best fairy tale.

3 Cinderella

The #1 most iconic and famous fairy tale in the world. The story traces back to diverse ancient civilizations such as Greece, China, Italy, and France. Its themes of rags to riches, true love, and following dreams are timeless.

Favorite classic of all fairy tales.

The underdog becomes the top dog.

Many versions of this tale exist in different cultures. The glass slipper, riding in a pumpkin, and the fairy godmother are all fantastic elements.

4 Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp

I acted in this story as Jasmine. I learned to appreciate what a fun story this is. Some people criticize it, and I don't know why!

It teaches you to be yourself in a fun and cool way. Go Aladdin!

The story is enchanting.

My favorite.

5 The Little Mermaid

A classic fairy tale about a mermaid who trades her voice for legs so she can marry a human prince.

A sad story that delivers a realistic portrayal of unrequited love and what it can do to people.

6 Peter Pan
7 Goldilocks and the Three Bears
8 Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Best book ever. Even the sequel was better!

9 The Three Little Pigs
10 Rumpelstiltskin

Classic fairy tale about a queen who needs to guess the name of an imp who spins straw into gold.

It needs a Disney film adaptation!

The Contenders
11 The Gingerbread Man
12 Jack the Giant Killer

Awesome story for kids!

Amazing fairy tale. One of the best creations of Benjamin Tabart.

"Jack and the Beanstalk" is an English fairy tale. It appeared as "The Story of Jack Spriggins and the Enchanted Bean" in 1734 and as Benjamin Tabart's moralized "The History of Jack and the Bean-Stalk" in 1807.

It's a great story!

The only flaw is that the story teaches you that the bad guys always win. Plus, the giant dies. What the heck!

13 Snow White

So many elements of this fairy tale are iconic: the magic mirror, the seven dwarves, the poisoned apple, and the glass coffin.

14 The Snow Queen

A very exciting adventure about a girl trying to defeat an evil queen with the power to control ice.

15 The Princess and the Pea

Underrated fairy tale about a princess who's so sensitive she can feel a pea under 20 mattresses.
