Top 10 Best Dragon Ball Z Fighters

The Top Ten
Vegeta Vegeta is a fictional character from the anime series Dragon Ball Z, created by Akira Toriyama. He is the prince of the fallen Saiyan race and initially appears as an antagonist before becoming one of the series' main protagonists. Vegeta is known for his rivalry with Goku and his relentless drive to... read more

His attack is fast, strong, and dangerous, not some fancy move. His final flash is awesome. He trains every day. Richest Z fighter in the group thanks to Bulma. He was born stronger than Goku. Goku is lucky to learn Kaioken and being dead for a long time (training in a different world). Evil genius during the Namek saga. He catches up with trend and fashion while Goku still wears old-school clothes in GT.

Vegeta kicked Goku's ass, and it was the best fight ever before Toriyama started playing favorites and made Vegeta weaker for no good reason. An idiot like Goku wouldn't survive in the real world the way a book and street-smart person like Vegeta would.

Goku Son Goku (Saiyan name Kakarrot) is the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise created by Akira Toriyama in 1984. He possesses many powerful abilities, including super strength, ki control, flight, teleportation, super speed, enhanced reflexes, and Super Saiyan transformations that increase his... read more

Goku is the strongest. If it was not for him all the time, then the whole world could be destroyed! He killed Frieza, Turles, Slug, and even Omega Shenron. He was killed by my hero Goku!

I agree! But come on, he's the best because he was written as the best, and that's that. But remember, he couldn't have done it without the Z-Fighters and the fact that someone else is stronger somewhere in the universe!

Why is he in the top 1 spot?

1. He is the best fighter in Dragon Ball Z.
2. He faced the most enemies.

Don't fight for this top!

Future Trunks

Future Trunks is by far one of the coolest characters in DBZ. His introduction alone is one of the most badass moments in the entire series. His backstory is one of the darkest and most emotional of any character. His origin movie, especially the scene where he goes SSJ for the first time, is one of, if not the single most heart-wrenching moment in all of Dragon Ball.

He's also one of the smartest fighters in the whole series, being one of the only fighters who doesn't let his opponents power up, choosing instead to attack them quickly and get things over with. He's also arguably the most proactive character, going back in time to change the course of history, then staying to help his friends even though it won't change the future he lives in.

His sword is badass, and he is more so. To top it off, he has two of the most hardcore kills in the entire series: cutting Frieza in half and punching straight through one of Bojack's henchmen in the Bojack Unbound movie. Most complete character by far. Should be top 5.

Trunks Trunks is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball Z anime and manga series, created by Akira Toriyama. He is the son of Vegeta and Bulma and is known for traveling back in time to warn the Z Fighters of future dangers. Trunks is one of the series' most prominent characters and appears in several major... read more

Great fighter and the cutest kid.

Gohan Son Gohan is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama. He was introduced as the first son of Goku and Chi-Chi in chapter 196, titled Kakarrot, which was first published on October 24, 1988, in Weekly Shōnen Jump... read more

Gohan is one of the strongest fighters in the world of DBZ. Over the years, Gohan has been fighting with the Z-fighters, and the great elder apparently drew out Gohan's latent power on Namek. Since Gohan trained so hard and leveled up throughout the years, the ancient lord of lords was able to draw out even more power from him.

It is said that Gohan is stronger than Gotenks, who is a bit weaker than Goku SSJ3. Therefore, Gohan is superior to his father.

Gohan held his own against the toughest of the tough and is even stronger than his father, making him the strongest Saiyan. He may have a chance against Whis at his full power, even if he has not been training that much because he was taking care of his family and being a good dad, way better than Goku and Vegeta.

Piccolo Piccolo is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama. He first appeared in chapter 161 of the manga, published in Weekly Shonen Jump on February 22, 1988... read more

Remember, Piccolo has regenerative abilities which none of the Z Fighters have! He's as experienced as Goku and has the vast wisdom of Kami! Unlike Goku or Vegeta, who find amusement in holding back in a fight, if you are in a battle against Piccolo, expect no mercy!

Piccolo has the most strategic mind out of every Z fighter. Obviously, going off of just power and ki ability, he doesn't rank very high. But, in an all-around fight, he has the ability to figure out how to defeat anyone.

Broly Broly is a major character in the Dragon Ball franchise, originally appearing as the main antagonist in the Broly film trilogy and later in Dragon Ball Super: Broly. He is portrayed as a Legendary Super Saiyan, a rare transformation that appears once every thousand years. His father is Paragus, who... read more

Really, number 6? Broly is the best fighter. Broly was feared by King Vegeta. He destroyed planets for fun. He killed his father. Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Gohan, and Piccolo couldn't beat him. It took Goten, Gohan, and the spirit of Goku in their family Kamehameha to defeat him. Really.

Broly is actually pretty strong. When he was born, he had a power level of 9000. You know what that means: "IT'S OVER 9000!"

The best fighter of Dragon Ball! No one has beaten him in a 1 vs. 1 battle! He explodes Son Goku and everyone 1000X!

Whis Whis is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Dragon Ball Super. He was created by Akira Toriyama and first appeared during the Battle of Gods saga. Whis serves as the attendant and martial arts teacher of Beerus, the God of Destruction, and is known for his calm demeanor and immense power... read more

He knocked out Lord Beerus with a single hit. He is Beerus's martial arts instructor, showing that he is more powerful than Beerus. Beerus is shown to only use 70% of his power in his fight against SSJ God Goku.

He's the strongest in the universe. The only person that's even a match for him is his sister, Vados.

Bulma Bulma is a fictional character in Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball manga series. She is the most prominent and enduring female character in the franchise, appearing from its earliest chapters through its various sequels. Gogeta Gogeta is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball franchise. He is the result of Goku and Vegeta performing the Fusion Dance, which combines their powers into a single warrior. Gogeta appears in Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super... read more

The second most powerful character in Dragon Ball Z. The most powerful character is Vegito, because of the Potara Earrings.

A mixture of Goku and Vegeta at their best. Mixing those makes for Dragon Ball Z's best fighter!

He owns! He's a fusion between SS4 Goku and Vegeta, the people voted number 1 and 2 on this list!

The Newcomers

? Super Buu Super Buu is a fictional character from the anime series Dragon Ball Z, created by Akira Toriyama. He is one of the more dangerous and intelligent forms of the villain Majin Buu. The Contenders
Vegetto

Just like Gogeta, he should be just a little better since he is only featured during the Buu saga and is blessed by the Kais. He is far beyond the best and shouldn't be questioned as anything less.

Vegetto is by far the strongest!

Cell Cell is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball series created by Akira Toriyama. He is the main antagonist of the Android Saga and is portrayed as an artificial life form from the future. His goal is to achieve a "perfect" form by absorbing Androids 17 and 18, which he accomplishes in the series before... read more

Cell is one of my favorite villains because the Goku and Cell match is the best in DBZ history. I like when Cell and my hero Goku were fighting with full strength. Their power levels were equal, but Goku made one mistake in that fight with that huge Kamehameha wave. But Goku can beat Cell. He can, he can, he can easily by SSJ2 or SSJ3.

Android 18 Android 18 is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga and anime series created by Akira Toriyama. She is originally introduced as a villain and one of the androids created by Dr. Gero to destroy Goku... read more
Kid Buu Kid Buu is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball Z anime series created by Akira Toriyama. He is the purest and original form of Majin Buu, making him extremely powerful and unpredictable. This version of Buu is known for his destructive tendencies and childlike yet brutal demeanor. Fans often... read more

Body manipulation used a lot more than other Buu incarnations. Smaller body/target to hit, limitless regeneration and stamina, and held back the Earth+Namek+Other World Spirit Bomb, which is the most powerful attack seen in DBZ. The body manipulation allowed opponents to miss him, attack them through choke holds and extending limbs, slamming his opponent around, as well as some insane attacks.

Also, he is the only villain to blow up Earth. It is uncertain his full power because if he could hold back the spirit bomb, how much was he holding back against Goku, Vegeta, and Mr. (Good) Buu?

Frieza Frieza is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball series created by Akira Toriyama. He is the main antagonist of the Frieza Saga and is known as a tyrannical ruler of the Planet Trade Organization... read more
Tien Shinhan Tien Shinhan is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball franchise, created by Akira Toriyama. He first appeared in Dragon Ball chapter 113, published on February 24, 1987. Tien is a disciplined martial artist with a third eye and is known for using techniques like the Tri-Beam and the Multi-Form.

I don't care what anybody else says. Tien is a goddamn role model and hands down the most ripped Z fighter. With all of the destructive assassination moves that he has, he could do anything. He won a Tenkaichi Budokai and held his own against Cell and Super Buu.

Beerus Beerus is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball franchise created by Akira Toriyama. He debuted as the main antagonist in the 2013 movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. As the God of Destruction, he plays a key role in Dragon Ball Super and other franchise entries that followed.

Beerus should be on top. He easily beat Goku in SSJ3 without breaking a sweat. It is shown in the movie at the end, after he fought SSJ God, he only used 70% of his power.

Lord Beerus is the God of Destruction. He defeated Goku Super Saiyan 3 in 2 hits in DBZ Battle of Gods. He should be ranked number 1.

Krillin Krillin (クリリン, Kuririn) is a supporting protagonist in the Dragon Ball manga and the anime series Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super. When he first met Goku, they had a brief rivalry while training under Master Roshi, but they quickly became lifelong best friends... read more

He may not match up to the Saiyan power level, but we can agree that he is very brave and skilled. When Super Buu attacked the lookout, Krillin tried to fight him while everyone else escaped.

Krillin has by far the best move. Destructo Disk is so deadly. He saves his friends over and over again and would whoop everyone except the Saiyans and Piccolo.

Tapion Tapion made his first appearance in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon. He is a warrior from a long-forgotten time who, along with his younger brother Minoshia, battled a powerful monster named Hirudegarn. Using a legendary ocarina, Tapion sealed half of the monster within his own body and... read more

He is the father of Raditz and Goku and a badass. I think it's awesome that he takes on Frieza (even though he does lose). I also like when he turns Super Saiyan and whoops the crap out of Chilled. How can anyone not like Bardock? He's a badass!
