YouTube Review #5: Wang Rong Rollin- Chick Chick
Martinglez https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxzgwJ8tSE0 watch the video first if you haven´t already.This is the weirdest thing i've seen in a while. I'm going to try tomorrow explain it, but it is really hard to describe it. So it's a japanese music videos about chicks and chickens.
First we see a woman magically making the dancers appear in a small paper model. This is the most normal part of the video. Oh boy.
The dancers start moving their chicken like tails and a girl making chicken noises. The chicken noises are annoying and are present in the whole song.
Now the girl starts singing in japanese and the dancers dance in the weirdest coreography. I can't describe it, but the dance is pretty weird.
Alfter that the most annoying part of the song starts. The girl starts screaming chicken noises. I do not know how human vocal chords can last a whole song making that irritating noise. It's like nails on a chalkboard.
And now more animal noises, chicks, Dogs, ducks... I think it's because other animals might have felt excluded. Actually, they would have been better without their representation.
Alfter that the dancers are joined by men without shirts with animal masks resembling the horse mask that is already famous on the internet.
That's it, this is too weird, i quit.
Just joking. Now they dance alone for a while, the singer sings for the final time and the video ends.
This video is one i would recomend because it's very weird, although the song itself is annoying, the video is funny, like most japanese stuff that we consider weird. The video is so weird it's good. Although i recommend watching it on mute, since the song is not only irritating and annoying, but catchy too.
