Creative comparing #4: Pre-movie Spongebob Squarepants vs Ed, Edd n Eddy

Martinglez This was suggested by bobbythebrony as he said it was the best Cartoon Network show vs the best Nick show, thanks bobbythebrony.
So it's my first time comparing TV shows. I decided to compare pre-movie Spongebob because it wouldn't be fair to compare the new episodes. So here we go.

1- Characters: This is a hard one, since they both have great characters. Spongebob has great and likeable characters (before the movie) and Ed, Edd n Eddy does too. The best Spongebob characters are Spongebob and, of course, Patrick, the funniest character in the show (before the movie, alfter he is sometimes kind of a jerk). My favourite Ed, Edd n Eddy characters are Ed, Edd n Eddy themselves. Together they are very funny. I think the point has to go to Spongebob, although Ed, Edd n Eddy characters are very funny, Spongebob takes the cake.
Pre-movie Spongebob: 1 Ed, Edd n Eddy: 0

2- Animation: I think this one is pretty much tied. They both have a very similar style.
Pre-movie Spongebob: 1,5 Ed, Edd n Eddy: 0,5

3- Comedy: Another hard one. They are both very funny and they both succeed at making the audience laugh. They both have really distinct ways of making us laugh, and they work every time. But i think Spongebob deserves this title the most, since it made me laugh even more, although they are both very funny.
Pre-movie Spongebob: 2,5 Ed, Edd n Eddy: 0,5

4- Originality: They both have very original and funny stories and plots, but i think Spongebob wins because it's set underwater and they use that pretty well.
Pre-movie Spongebob: 3,5 Ed, Edd n Eddy: 0,5

5- Entertainment: They are both very entertaining, so i think this deserves a tie, since they can both keep you watching for hours and with a smile on your face.
Pre-Movie Spongebob: 4 Ed, Edd n Eddy: 1

Winner: Pre-Movie Spongebob
I just prefer this show. I watched a lot when i was younger and it's still awesome. Although Ed, Edd n Eddy ya hilarious too, Spongebob gets the prize. But we can all agree, they are both better than today's Spongebob.

I am sort of glad Ed Edd n Eddy ended, because it could have took the ''Spongebob Path".
And you forgot to compare the Ed Edd n Eddy Big Picture Show to the Spongebob movie(first one).
But, the Ed Edd n Eddy Big Picture Show isn't as iconic, and also the movies don't really prove which is better. I am more of an Ed Edd n Eddy fan, but I still like this one. Good comparison. - Skullkid755 (2/12/2016)
