Best Movies of 2005
-
Batman Begins
Batman Begins deserves its rank here. It is dark, amazingly written, and sustains Batman being awesome. The cinematography is unbelievably amazing!
9/10!
By far the coolest, most original, and creative movie of 2005. It has superb drama, driving scenes, special effects, story, and dialog.
I voted for Goblet of Fire because it was lower down, but this is one of the greatest superhero films of all time.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
The most exciting movie of this year. The best lightsaber fight we've all been waiting for. The final chapter of the prequels, and the most emotional and darkest Star Wars movie ever.
This film is full of action at every second. It was too impossible for one to say it's boring. This movie has the most action, lightsaber duels, and scenes you don't want to miss.
Obi-Wan was such a cool character, fighting Anakin and killing the kickass villain Grievous. This movie has an unhappy ending but wraps up the original trilogy. Gotta be the best film of the year.
This is my favorite movie of all time! The thrilling scenes at the end make it the best, so no one can argue about this film!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
2005 was a bad year for movies (with the exception of three or four movies). This was the only movie of that year that I felt was fantastic.
-
King Kong
The best Kong movie and definitely the best movie of 2005! Great CGI and great acting!
A very underrated movie that nearly made me cry. Amazing.
-
Madagascar
-
Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
-
Sin City
-
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
The 1971 movie is overrated. Anyway, this is on Channel 5 or Film4 more than the crummy version.
Good, but I prefer the original.
There's just something so satisfying about Johnny Depp's performance in this movie.
-
Brokeback Mountain
Heath Ledger gives the performance of a lifetime. This film is one of the best but avoided by many people. It is very misunderstood.
Again, why the hell are too many blockbusters in the top 10? Come on, people, this movie needs to be in the top 5 at least.
I love them, but they're so overrated.

War of the Worlds

The Longest Yard
-
The 40-year-Old Virgin
-
Saw II
-
V for Vendetta
The trailer looks like the movie has a lot of action. Looks good! I'll watch it when I'm 13, then I'll comment again.
Great message that arguably holds up even better now than it did back in 2005.
-
Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
This won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, and Chicken Little didn't even get nominated, so this should automatically be ranked a lot higher.
-
Tim Burton's Corpse Bride
-
Walk the Line
-
Zodiac
-
Munich
-
Wedding Crashers
-
Constantine
-
Serenity
-
Thank You for Smoking
-
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
-
Chicken Little

Robots
Still a better animated Robin Williams movie than both FernGully and Happy Feet.
Robots is one of Blue Sky Studios' best films.
