I totally agree, I'm not a fan of rap music myself, but what this guy can do, is very impressive.
A lot of people dislike him, but he brought forth great songs and albums in the 2000s, just listen to the Marshall Mathers LP. He was also the best selling artist of the decade.

Gotta go with the White Stripes. If you haven't heard this band then I highly recommend you listen to them quickly. Very talented.

I know many may disagree, but her songs and dancing were defining factors in that decade. Plus who doesn't start singing when one of her songs comes on, your just kidding yourself if you say you don't.
Her first album "Dangerously In Love" was pretty good, but after that it all went downhill. This woman has made some of the absolute worst songs of the mid to late 2000's and 2010's.

It was either Green Day or System of Down for the tenth position, I went with Green Day because no matter how much they are made fun of and called a pop band, they are still a great band with very unique music for the time frame. So is System of a Down yes, but Green Days albums are a tad better in my opinion.
